Kunwar Dhillon as the new male lead in Do Dil... Ek Jaan?

TOI was the first to report about the 20-year time leap in Do Dil... Ek Jaan.

We had also mentioned that the original lead couple played by Ayaz Ahmed and Nikita Sharma will get replaced if the makers manage to find suitable replacements to play the new couple.

And now we are back to inform our readers that after an extensive research, Kunwar Dhillon, last seen in Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuchh Kaha:Season 2 has been almost finalised to take the story forward from Ayaz and Nikita.

Kunwar will play Ayaz and Nikita's son in the show. Informs a source associated with the show, "The makers had approached Kinshuk Mahajan and Shakti Arora among others for the role of Antara and Raghu's son. They have liked Kunwar and in all likelihood, he will be finalised for the show. The final decisions is expected to be made in the next few days.

I really dont know how to react to this news.
Yeh Kanwar ki kismat hi phooti huyi hai.
NBT me tha toh wahan hum logon se gaaliyan khaata tha...yahan aaya to yaahan par bhi aisa welcome mila ki zindagi bhar yaad rakhega. 😆
Although I dont watch DDEJ...but Nataunki wale ek no. ke bade wale ch***ye hai.
Sabko pata hai...MBEIEJ ke fans se bhi pooch lo.
Are yeh sab unki nautanki hai.
Actually their total focus is on that rang biranga ColourRasiya show!
Paise kam pad gaye honge isiliye they want to shut down both of their shows...iske liye itne paitre bana rahe hai.
Even actors like Kinshuk & Shakti know ki ab show 2-3 mahine se jyada nahi chalega.
So they are smart to decline the offer.
Kanwar is a bachha.
20 saal ka hai...lagta 30 ka hai woh alag baat hai!!
Har show me leap ke baad aata hai...lead actor ka beta banta hai...aur fans se gaaliyan khaata hai!
Saurabh Tiwari ka diwala hoga bahut jald.
Colors pe new show launch kar raha hai na...Colors wale are masters of ruining their own shows.

DDEJ had lots of potential...but they didnt utilise the talent of the leads.
Didnt realise how much hard work each & every actor puts for his/her role.

Jaate jaate one advice...kartlo aap log is show se...warna you'll get to see the Baba of stony expressions.
