Its freshness is what it appeals to me the most.Honestly the storyline is not really unsual but its the treatment which makes it very different. The dialogues are witty and apt for each situations. The characterisation of each and every character is bang on and they don't really behave out of context of their characters, for eg, Raghu is totally in character and while at times I want to pull my hair out of frustration with the way he is behaving, I am so happy that the integrity of the characterisation has been kept intact, nothing frustrates me more than shoddy characterisation and weak plots. The show is not just about Raghu and Antara, the supporting characters all play an important role in this show and they are not props for the main characters, yes there are times when some of the scenes with the supporting characters are a bit forced but we need to give them some leeway, its impossible to create a love story without a few forced scenes and situations.
In the beginning I was not very taken up by Nikita's acting but she has improved at such a tremendous pace that I can't wait to see what she has in store for us as months go by. From being non-committal about her acting, I have become an admirer of her tenacity and willingness to work hard and improve and it shows.
Ayaz I feel is a natural actor, I have not seen him in other shows but for me his range as an actor is tremendous. He portrays rage, anger, vulnerability, passion, concern all very well, I can actually differentiate between all these emotions in his face and this is amazing. He portrays a gangster pretty well, there were a lot of talk how he did not fit into the physical image of gangster, real gangsters in life dont look like Salman Khan either, they look more like Raghu and I love that this show is running strong on its storyline because we have two relatively unknown people as leads.
