We all see Raghu as this multi-layered angsty character , but I think the Antara who came to Mumbai leaving her beloved Kashmir and her memories of happier times beyond is very much angst -driven.She is no longer the girl who made music but someone who had to grow up rather quickly, having lost her father and mother(mentally) in quick succession. She has had to become a mother overnight to her young brother who is really not old enough to offer solace or comfort.She equates goondas and terrorists in the same category and honestly it is true, how can we expect someone from a secure family to understand someone like Raghu, it will take time for her to trust him and understand him.
For Raghu, it was not just about not letting her go or about his inability to save his mother but also I think he's had found himself attached to Antara and her family. Notice today he called Ishaan Ishu, just like Antara does not quarter packet etc..
and yes Machmach totally has an inkling, even his questioning about love tomorrow in the precap is I think to test out his theory.
