@ Koel...Lovely take...bachaana chahta tha...
I loved how he denied flat that he has not come here to repent...because no amount of repentance can undo the things already done...He has come to salvage something which still remains intact...his faith in himself that he can save somebody...A mother...and he is not a loser...it was his own belief that he wanted to save, by saving her mother...
He could have kept her (Tried that is...Antara is similarly stubborn) locked up inside, but this was his way of making amend...
I love how he absolutely sneers when he says Kashmir...how he always attaches the ownership on places...Meri basti, tera Kashmir...As if wanting to keep a distance from her mentally..push her away...keep her away psychologically...and convincing himself that she is NOT within his reach...
But somehow his hands have their own wish dont they??? They just snake out towards her😆
And his sense of humour actually activates when he is around her na?? He knows she is a bit slow on the pick up...the way he tells her " Do kaan hai tere"🤣 I so loved those lines..He could have just said that it is the other ear...but nah,...he had to make her feel that she herself doesnot know how many ears she has😆
And the way he always approaches her like a predator and when she back off, he is like "limit ka goonda hoon" ...Arrrey sidhe sidhey hi de deta uski earrings...😆
On Antara...I bow down to you Koel...Absolute wonderful insight..
Raghu is representing the ones which took away her father's life and left her in tatters...and it is he who is starting to make her feel that she was wrong...Right now with her mother stuck in some time warp and having to depend upon a family which is not hers, and having a little brother who looks up to her...she knows that she cannot soften...and that is what Raghu does, she is softening towards people who are wrong...Just like her father, who believed that even these kind of people should not be hated...I think the flashbacks they show of her father is for this very purpose that she keeps on comparing herself to her father and his situation and is finding that she is becoming emotionally vulnerable...
And at this point of time, she cannot afford that...She has lost enough...Period...
