Chapter 6

Class had just finished after such a stressful day of working on the project and then continuing to receive the needed information in order to complete the project. Walking out of class I began to head towards my apartment when I heard my name being called out. I turned around to see Armaan calling me.

"Hey" I said waiting for him to catch up with me.

"How is your project coming along" he asked me as he caught up with me.

"It's going well just time consuming you can say" I replied as we continued to walk towards my place.

"...and working with Raghu?" he asked stopping in his tracks. I stopped alongside him and turned towards him.

"Um, well I don't know. Raghu is quite inter..." but before I can finish I could hear him laughing. I look up to see Raghu ahead of us chatting with MachMach. I seriously didn't know exactly how it felt like working with him. It was weird and interesting at the same time. I just didn't know how I felt.

"Antara? It's quite what?" Armaan asked. I turned towards him with difficulty taking my eyes off of Raghu.

"Interesting. It's quite interesting working with Raghu" I said looking at him. "Well my apartment is this way so I will catch up with you later" I replied turning toward my apartment.

"Antara" I heard my name being called again. I turned around towards Armaan.

"Yeah?" I asked stopping in my tracks.

"Bye" he said turning away. I turned on my heels and started walking towards my apartment.

"Antara" I heard my name once again.

"Yes Armaan" I replied turning around. "Oh Raghu..." I died off . "Sorry I thought it was Armaan" I replied looking down at my feet trying to make the situation not awkward as much as possible.

"Oh...that's alright" he replied walking towards me. "I just wanted to ask when you wanted to work on the part that we were just assigned?" he asked.

"Oh, well we can do tomorrow?" I asked.

"Actually I can't do tomorrow..." he replied

"Oh well..."

"It's actually my birthday tomorrow" he cut me off.

"Oh! That's alright than we can do another day" I replied. "Just text me whenever you are free" I finished turning around and walking towards my apartment once again.

"I am having a party tomorrow. Would you like to come? Nikki is also invited if you can let her know." He finished. I turned around and looked at him.

"Thank you for inviting me" I replied facing him completely. "I will try to make it and I will definitely let Nikki know" I finished and walked towards my apartment.

Upon arriving to my apartment I sat down on my bed and laid down. God I was so tired it was ridiculous. I grabbed my ipod and blasted the music in my room. I closed my eyes and laid back down and fell asleep within seconds.

*Buzz buzz* I felt my phone vibrating under my head. I reached under my bed and quickly grabbed my phone. "Hello?" I answered in a sleepy voice.

"Hey Antara!" I heard on the other side. The voice sounded so familiar. "I have something really important to tell you." I realized it was Raghu and immediately got up from my bed.

"Oh hi" I said more alert and awake. "Tell me" I replied grabbing my pillow and hugging it tight to my chest.

"I love you" Raghu said in one breath. I dropped the phone hearing what he said. Did he just tell me that he has feelings for me? That he loves me? I questioned myself looking at the phone. "Antara, you there?" I heard through the speakers of the phone I quickly grabbed the phone and put it to my ear.

"Yeah, I am" I whispered not to sure where I should take this conversation or whether this conversation should even continue. "I didn't hear what you said, the connection was bad" I lied wanting to hear it again just in case if I heard something else.

"I love you" I heard him say once again. Shoot this was real. What do I say I have only known for about a week and already a confession. In fact is this some kinda of joke that he is playing it probably is. What happens if itsn't. I didn't even know what to say at the moment.

Antara turned to look at her phone as she saw it vibrating on her bed. "Hello" she replied answering it.

"Hey beautiful" Raghu said chuckling on the other side of the line.

"What can I do you for Mr. Raghu" she replied pushing away from the computer and leaning against the chair.

"Why you still up pretty girl?" he said as he leaned against his bed rest.

"Pretty girl? Where did that come from?" she asked confused because this is the first time she has heard that come from his mouth.

"Well youa re pretty and you are a girl so why not just call you pretty girl since you want let me call you babe" he replied smartly. She growled at his remark.

"You think you are so funny?" she replied gazing out the window.

"No not all" he replied getting up from his bed and leaning against his windows seal gazing at the moon. "So what are you doing?" he asked.

"Nothing much" she replied as she continued to gaze at the moon. Antara looked down at her engagement ring and noticed how the moon light made the diamonds on the ring shimmer. It was so beautiful.

"Are you staring at moon?" he asked knowingly.

"How did you know?" she asked looking back at the moon, wondering as to how he knew.

"Because I am always with you no matter what" He replied. God he is cheesy it makes my stomach churn.

"Oh stop it" she replies blushing hysterically. "You know the ring you gave me?" she asked walking over to her computer and saving her file.

"Yeah..." he whispered, He made it sound like he was scared to here what Antara had to say. Did she not like the ring? Was there something wrong with it?

"I absolutely love it" she said smiling at the ring and kissing it. Holy mother of holiness, she scared me. I seriously thought she was going to say something bad about it.

"And I absolutely love you" he replied smiling.

"I really wish you were" she said covering herself with her blanket. "A little bit too much" she finished blushing through her covers.

"Do you want me to come over" he asked. Honestly I secretly wanted him to, but then again I couldn't.

"No it's okay. I think I am just going to head to bed. Good night. I love you more than you can imagine" she replied kissing the phone and hanging up. She placed her phone on the night stand and turned off the light quickly slipping into a dream that only consisted of her and Raghu.
