Hello DDBEDSians.😊

I am sorry to write about this. I know many will feel hurt. But as a diehard RaShian it took all my patience to watch this Sumi track since the last 2 months.🤢

I know each show must have a powerful negative characters . I agree this makes matching the show more interesting and high on suspense . But Sumi's character is written very bad. Her motives, her actions aren't well explained. 😕 Also , she makes other characters look foolish by not recognizing her evil deeds till the moment.😆

This illogical, senseless track is getting on my nerves by each passing day. And now with Raghu's pretending to be liking her..it is getting worst. To be honest ..watching Sumi coming close from Raghu , hugging him, feeding him , made me want to vomit. 🤢 No offence to any actor or fan.😳

I also noticed that many of forum members left since this track started. I request them to come back just for the sake of our friendship, even if they are not watching the show now.

Awida I feel they hv contract with the actors for certain period of time and so they cant suddenly end the character mayb because it will mean releasing the actress too ..

Anyways now the focus might shift more on Raghu-Shivani-Karan angle and so we can already see Sumitra has less to do in terms of kitchen politics ...

all that Raghu-Sumitra scene might reduce too once Shivani decides to ignore Raghu ..

@awida. bravo. thanks for putting in writing. don't say sorry as it needed to be said.

normally in shows negative character shown for few weeks and then ended.

In this show it seems never ending. overstayed for unknown reasons. only CV's can answer why it has overstayed and also why showing she is the only with brain (negative one to say the least).

Agree with this. I thought Sumi's character was a cameo and the main villains were Renuka aunty,Mahi, Jazz. But she is prolonging her stay here. Also no one know where she got the money from and why she wants to marry Raghu.

I thought she had come back to get a share in Raghu's property but that is also not true. Isnt it more beneficial for her to trap a rich guy like Karan?

And if her motive is revenge ,, she will not gain anything by marrying Raghu. She is not interested in him nor in love with him, nor does he have any money.

She continues rolling her eyes in every frame . Its getting irritating.

CVs r sort of keeping Sumi's character for no real reason and I see no growth in her character either

like take friday ka epi for example .. she feels bad assuming Raghu arranged a date for Shivani .. here I expected her to show emotions a bit and directly accuse Raghu of using her and mayb even confront Raghu on it ... but what she does , she goes around hiding the cupboard keys so that Shivani cant take the saree out and then gives her typical evil smirk as if its a big achievement to stop Shivani from going to date instead of thinking on why Raghu arranges a date in first place ..

My point is she seems to b more into how to stop Shivani and Raghu to unite than thinking about her own future because clearly she is not in love with Raghu either .. so her character is quite a messed up one with no real progress and emotions ...

Karan is a better shaped up character than Sumi in this case

good post dear ... yeah sumi track must end... the show is going to be 200 epis n still the main leads r far from uniting , hell, one lead not even realizing the love !!!

the KP n MU tracks ate out most of the time to develop Rashi... although they r going at a good pace rashi story line wise ...

i think sumi loves raghu, in a selfish way... i mean what kind of a girl will hug n flaunt herself in short dresses in front of a stranger! ... her love for raghu is selfish n obsessive ... n more than she loves raghu she loves to see shivani thwarted ...

we know she is after raghu but for what reason as she definitely does not love raghu.

she does not think highly of anybody in the house. Look at how she uses maya and then in her mind she is insulting her.

last week we saw again the way she said in her mind about ginny who is day dreaming about karan.

so far we don't know from where and how she is getting money and yet lives in the house as a free loader

so in my opinion, CV's seems confused as to which direction sumi's character should be taken.

very nice post awida.. agree with everything everyone said..

sumitra's got the most intolerable characteristics..

ever since her entry we've got nothing but mumbo jumbos..

definitely want her track to be over and done with..

(i was seriously reading your post.. suddenly came the 'vomit' part ! omg!

i was laughing so hard i got tears in my eyes.. thank you so much for that)

Yes. You are right about contract. And I too don't want any actor to loose his job. Even when I hated Robesh character I didn't wish him to be kicked off the show , coz it is his work. But just wanted cvs to reduce his screen presence. 😳

And I am thankful to cvs for ending KP. And I hope you are right about Raghu keeping a distance from Sumi after Shivani stops forcing herself on him. This will be a good for start. The next thing is that cvs have to focus on RaShi in the upcoming track.

I know some negative characters don't end at all.😕 I hope in this show Sumi's track ends soon. Those days when trio evil kept plotting against Rashi we were angry, but at least we enjoyed the show. I think the problem here is that Sumi's character wasn't written well. And she has no right to interfere in RaShi's life , coz she doesn't even love Raghu.
