Written Update

Night time.. Raghu on the terrace.. unable to sleep.. pacing up and down.. he remembers his meeting with Sumitra.. where she said that her parents are trying to fix her marriage elsewhere and asking Raghu to speak to her parents about their marriage.. next he remembers how Sumitra was shocked and angry to see Babyji in his room and walked away in tears.. Raghu is perturbed.. tells himself, on one hand Babyji needs my help and on the other Sumitra is talking about marriage.. don't know how I'm going to manage all this.. (true.. we are worried too Raghu..)

His mother is going towards the kitchen and spots Raghu sitting on the terrace wall.. she comes up and asks him whats the matter, why he is not sleeping .. she answers her own question and says I know, you are worried about Babyji.. she continues and says, time is a great healer, Babyji's sorrow about Ranaji's death will lessen in due course, and we are all here to take care of her.. so don't worry.. R says nothing.. mom tells R that I came up here to ask about Sumitra.. she is still waiting for you.. R stunned.. mom tells him, once Babyji goes back home, I will talk to Sumitra's parents about your marriage.. R still silent.. mom asks him whether he is hiding something from her.. he denies..

Next morning, Raghu knocks on his room door.. Shivani wakes up saying "good morning Daju".. she opens her eyes and remembers where she is.. opens the door for Raghu.. they wish each other good morning and Raghu says bathroom is ready for you.. he hands over his mother's sari to her, but Shivani asks Raghu if could get some new ones.. R says hojayega Babyji.. happy, S looks around for her toothbrush and finds her toilet kit on the table.. she picks it up and knocks down the mangalsutra which was also kept on the table.. Bela comes in with a cup of tea and is shocked to see that S is about to step on the m'sutra.. she shouts at S to stop.. S and R puzzled..

Bela is super angry.. she tells S that even if you don't care about this relationship, atleast have some respect for the m'sutra.. R protests and tries to defend Shivani, saying that it was knocked down accidently.. Bela is angry on Raghu too.. she says I know your marriage is a fake, but this m'sutra, sindoor and all the rituals are not fake.. she tells S that until your divorce takes place, please show respect .. Bela places the mangalsutra on Shivani's palm and closes her fingers on it.. walks off.. S is perturbed.. R tells her that he's sorry on Bela's behalf... tells S that not to mind what Bela says as she has a sharp tongue, and says he will convince her.. he tells S to get ready for her bath and he will bring her the new saris.. but S is still silent and looks at the m'sutra.. R comes down the stairs, counting the money in his pocket.. it is not enough for new saris.. Baburam sees him and gives him some money... ..

R refuses, but Baburam insists.. says we will sort out the money issue later, but for now you make sure that Babyji is comfortable (wait till u come to know the truth about babyji's financial status..) .. Baburam is happy that R is taking care of Babyji... meanwhile, in room, S is still staring at the m'sutra and remembering Bela's words, she tells herself .. I never thought that mine and Raghu's fake marriage will create so many problems.. S is perturbed..

Chennai express ad.. Maya and Ginny are happy to know that SRK's movie will be coming on Zee TV at 8.00 pm on Sunday.. Maya plans to take leave from hospital.. both agree that they will definitely watch it...

Mom calls Bela to help her in the kitchen to make Pasto for Babyji.. but Bela refuses angrily, says that she has lots of other work.. just then, a group of ladies from the Mohalla enter their house.. they want to see the new Bride ... one of them says that they are surprised to hear that Rana's granddaughter has returned back to their house.. they had heard rumours that S will not be coming back .. mom and Bela are stunned.. Baburam comes out of his room and tells Bela to call Shivani... Bela reluctant... mom sends both Maya and Bela to get Shivani..

Maya explains to S that the mohalla ladies have come to meet her.. Bela tells her to get dresses as a married lady.. S annoyed ... tells Maya that you ppl know that this marriage is fake.. Maya agrees... says that our house ppl know this, but not the outsiders.. Maya tells S... you just have to wear sari and do some acting... S stunned.. asks where is Raghu.. Bela replies that he has gone to the bazaar.. Bela picks up the M'sutra which was lying on the bed and gives it to S.. tells her to wear it and sindoor and come downstairs..

S flatly refuses .. Bela angry ... she taunts S and asks when you can do a fake marriage, why can't you wear a fake m'sutra... (good question) ... S tells Bela you are speaking so rudely.. no one ever spoke this way to me before.. Bela says what u think of yourself.. you maybe queen in your haveli, but here in this mohalla, you are Raghu's wife... you just have to play the part.. Maya pleads with S and says that the Mohalla ppl have sharp eyes.. if you go down without m'sutra or sindoor, everyone will laugh at our family.. S says she cannot do it.. Bela starts to yell at her, but Maya stops her.. Maya tells Bela that afterall Raghu is servant of Babyji.. what does it matter if he and his family are humiliated..self- respect is meant for only rich ppl, not for poor ppl like us.. Bela tells S that R did so much for you, but you cannot do even little for him.. Bela and Maya leave the room... S shocked and saddened at their words..

Meanwhile.. R is in sari shop.. listening to the salesman's spiel.. he asks the cost of a sari and rejects it saying that he does not want too expensive one.. doesn't know which ones to choose.. he calls S but she is not in the room, only phone is on the bed... R suddenly remembers Sumitra ... he chooses similar colour clothes for Shivani..

Meanwhile, Bela, mom, and others waiting down in the hall... all the other ladies are also waiting.. one of them asks why your DIL is taking so long to come downstairs.. mom and Bela perturbed.. suddenly they see S has come down the stairs.. she is wearing mom's sari, m'sutra and sindoor... all look pleased, except Shivani...

Precap.. Mohalla ladies have surrounded S who is sitting on a chair.. one of them says that its good you have come to live here.. after marriage, a woman's home is her sasural... another lady says of course she has to come here only, because of this marriage Ranaji got heart attack.. S stunned..
