Daaju was shocked. So this was abhi's true colours. How he had misjudged the young man. Now abhi was holding his beloved grand daughter at gun point. Daaju had never felt so helpless before. The look of fear on the Shivani's face would haunt him for the rest of his life.
"Abhi I will sign over my entire property to you,but please i beg let Shivani go..." daaju cried.
"that's exactly what you are going to do. but until I have these papers in my hands, i will keep this heiress as my hostage..." Abhi roared.
"Abhi, i will go willingly, but pl..." Shivani tried to say but she was immediately cut of by Abhi. He had given her a tight slap straight across her face. She staggered backwards wheeling from the pain. Her lower lip was bleeding, such was the impact of the slap.
"I will kill you for touching her!" Raghu stood in the door way shaking with anger. "How dare you hit her?" Raghu strode into the room. He grabbed Abhi by his collar and started beating him black and blue. He was so angry that he wasn't thinking straight. At that point in time murder was on his mind. He still remembered answering his cell phone. He had just left the haveli to tell his family the good tidings. His cell had rung, It was Panna Tai, Shivani's nanny. She had told him how abhi had pointed a gun at shivani. Raghu only saw red. He ran as fast as his legs could carry him. He arrived just when Abhi had slapped his beloved...He acted immediately.
"How dare you put your filthy hands on her? I will tear you limb from limb. I won't spare you.!" Raghu hurled blow after blow on Abhi. Waves of anger just rolled of him. This was a different Raghu. He was no longer calm and collected. This Raghu was a raging bull.
"I will kill you here and now.!" Raghu continued beating Abhi to a pulp. Abhi was bleeding in several places but still Raghu was unrelentless."You think you can slap my finacee' and I'd let you live? I will give my life for her! "
At this point Daaju, who was at the time tending to Shivani intervened."Raghu, Panna Tai has called the cops. Leave him. The cops will deal with him."
"Leave him? How can i leave him? He has slapped her. I will Avenge her!" There was no calming him. He was angry and visible shaking with rage. Daaju tried in vain to calm him but it was to no avail. He would kill Abhi.
Shivani walked over to him and gently placed her hand on his shoulder. Her touched did wonders. He immediately calmed and some of his tension left him.
"Leave him for the cops.."Shiavani's voice trailed off.. Raghu had grabbed her and pulled her into his arms. He stroked her hair and continously told her he love her. They both fell to the ground embracing each other. the wail of the sirens informed them that the cops were arriving.
Abhi struggled to his feet. He ran out of the house shouting"I will avenge this! I won't spare any of you!"and with that he was gone. Raghu wanted to go after him but Shivani just held on to him. their eyes locked on each other and for the moment only the two of them exisited...
