@irobo I also agree on the first points. What else do you expect from her. She was cheated. An ambitious girl married to a ninth pass halwai. How can she accept him just like that. Her anger and frustration on being a girl was beautifully bought out in DABH and it was completely justified.

Sooraj didnt stop Sandhya just like that. Ankur told Sooraj that Sandhya was also cheated. Then Sooraj remembered Sandhya saving Bhabo from the bull. Sandhya saying no to bribe to the police man. Sandhya bringing FD to help the family. Sandhya applying medicine to Bhabo. It was because he felt she was truthful and also he understood her pain in accepting him because of his profession and education status he decided to support her.

If really Sandhya was selfish, why didnt she sign the divorce papers. She could have easily done that and walked out. Tell me a reason why she didnt do it , if not for Sooraj and his loving nature. She kept her dream at the altar of her marriage. She didnt sign them because of Sooraj, his respect for her and she started to love him. It was Sooraj's nature beyond his educational qualification that stopped her. Why we are not discussing this aspect that she decided to let go of her dream for her husband. Why we tell she decided to accept her fate for this act.

I am not telling Sandhya is perfect, in that case Sooraj is also not perfect. Many times he also has allowed his mother to trample over Sandhya. He had never questioned Bhabo on tel malish, LC, key thing nothing. Not even once he had told Bhabo you are wrong. He supported Sandhya in hiding. He showed his affection in hiding. He always gave an impression he is afraid of Bhabo, he loves Bhabo deeply and treats her as God, he cannot live without her. This made Sandhya Bhabo's slave as she believes keeping Bhabo happy will keep Sooraj happy.

It is only post 2nd MP he started behaving like a husband. His support became overt from covert. He started speaking for her. Atleast he did walk out in the seperation track. Even then it was not for her, but was for Bhabo

If Sooraj behaves like a lover Sandhya too will be like that. If Sooraj behaves like a husband Sandhya will become a wife. By that I mean Sooraj's support has to be strong not some lies, but he has to always stand in front of Bhabo and tell that he is doing this for Sandhya and he has every right to do it.

Yesterday too when Bhabo asked Sandhya to wear the saree he just jumped and told no no this is not right for interview. It was a panicky mode reaction. Instead if he had spoken assertively that Sandhya will wear this saree only as it is the dress code and had made a genuine effort to make Bhabo understand UPSC dress code. He would have saved Sandhya the dilemma. He is capable of it.

Sooraj will change only and only if Sandhya and family pride is placed side by side and he is asked to choose one. If he affirmatively chooses Sandhya over family pride then he will have his wife. Till then she will be only reacting to his actions.

she was not cheated by RM, bhabho or suraj, she was cheated by her own brother. so showing that anger on suraj is wrong, bhabho said she didnt want educated girls for suraj, actually bhabho and suraj got cheated, they should be angry on sandy.

she married because she didnt want to be burden to the in-law thats why, ankur did not force her into the marriage. she thought buy marrying this educated guy, at least he can make her a IPS.

see suraj just didn't stop her , first he thought sandy trying to tell him the problem and he also thought about what ankur said that dont punish my sister for my mistake and 3rd ankur said suraj sandy was with you all this time so you should know about her then only suraj thought about what you have said above like saving bhabho , applying medicine to bhabho,etc... and finally he remembered his marriage vows that what ever happens in life they will face it together and then only he decided to stop her , because he thought no point in punishing her for her brother mistake.

what i'm trying to say is suraj tried to understand sandy, and help her because it was not her mistake. but sandy did not understand suraj. she was like if it was suraj who cheated her and was angry.

until the bus accident she was not accepting him as her husband, was treating him like a stranger/friend

sandy never gave a chance to suraj to understand her, without giving him the chance she decided he is a bad person in the beginning , suraj him self found out everything and understood her,

i'm also not saying suraj is perfect he has his own flaws, but sandy is not great as you all say she is . sandy is a good person not great, that's all

whatever said sandy is the best thing happened to suraj, suraj is the best thing happened to sandy. in both of there lifes
