When the main theme is Sandy's iPS journey, cvs could have done some research. Skipping over UPSC mains and Sandy receiving the interview letter a day before the interview😲, were👎🏼
Sandy breaking the interview dress code was a big red flag. Would she break the rules in the future too for her family's sake? The interviewers had a valid point there. I don't know if they were talking about Suraj's profession in terms of it being stationary and not conducive to a transferable job., or talking down about him, we will have to wait and see.

I think they were just asking her those questions to throw her off. either that or they've discovered that all the crooks of Pushkar actually reside in the RM 😆

I'll wait until the interview is completed to pass judgement...but I'm sure they'll skip over it and just show her coming out of it...or hide the questioning with music...it is a Saas-Bahu serial after all 😆

lol when in first year of the show i called it saas-bahu show many members (they r not here now) bashed me but now there is not an ounce doubt left that its a saas-bahu show i think the upsc theme shouldn't hv been taken by the cv's on first place because their capability is of making saas-bahu drama only they could show sandy wants to be a lawyear that also could fulfill her fight against injustice things or they could show a police or officer in state govt. Not in upsc the most prestigious exam of india has become a joke

but paaji in upsc innterviews questions realted to gk and presence of mind etc etc may be asked
but this is a daily soap and a family oriented subject and they cant drag this interview for two days
first day gk
and second day family related questions( this session is a must)t
a
i feel the interview quesitions quiet good
in future sandy may face all thiess problems and to some extent suraj as well

the reaction from the society is what the interviewers are trying to throw light on

Nice Post shantji.
I too think that y they concentrate more on RP. But is quite possible after seeing her breaking the dress code.
The judges may want to get a clear idea abt her family weakness.
But they could have give a scene with BG music only while they ask some questiond and sandy answering them. It will give more effect that the interview is based on other matters too.

in one of my discussion with one IPS officer- i was informed that questions are asked about anything and everything...be it family issues, personal issues or administrative and GK...its not about how much you know...its about how smart you are and how confident you are ...how can you tackle the pressure situation...they genereally try to put the candidate under pressure for one thing or other and wants to see how he reacts to that situation...and interview is not over yet...they might show some more questions...Considering same...i did not find much flaws in interiew...though i know i am the only one saying it...

Tpji to me an interviewer asks questions based on a candidate's weakness. I have been an interviewer myself 😳. When we interview freshers we bombard them with questions like " What will you do if you get 1 million", " Is money the most important thing" and lot of similar questions and very few questions are asked about subject. Because we get training that subject can be taught, it is the attitude and integrity of the candidate that matters. So we base our questions to gauge those points.
Here in Sandhya's case by breaking the dress code Sandhya exposed her emotional weakness to the interview board. They understood she couldnt convince her MIL the importance of the UPSC dress code, but instead wore what she advised her. So in future she is going to hold an important position. So if goes by what her family says than what the rule book says they have a big problem in hand. Hence they questioned her again and again about her family. Her stand on what it will be when her integrity and trust will be in question. Whether she will trade her integrity for supporting family( We know Sandhya has done it, but can she do the same as ACP Sandhya Rathi).
Now they have turned to her husband. I guess it is that question that is going to light the tube light in Sandhya's head. That an insecurity can come to Sooraj post her IPS. Maybe because of that she decides to reaffirm her vows to him and also deciding to take marriage to next level( whatever that means) so that she makes him secure in their relationship and let him know she truly belongs to him no matter what.
I basically liked their grilling on Sandhya's EQ than IQ. IQ she will pass, Sandhya's weakness is EQ and the interview board was exactly gauging it. Interviewers dont gauge your strengths Tpji. That's obvious. They will gauge your weakness only. 😃
