@ farhana - I agree that Sandhya was not fair to Suraj today. But let me reiterate the point that I doubt Sandhya really grasps the ways of romance, again, due to her past. Besides this, however, I wanted to add that the alternative actions Sandhya could've taken might not be so plausible. For instance, she must've feared that confessing the 'Bhabho brainwash conversation' to Suraj could cause even more divisions between the mother and son (the very thing she is trying to avoid since day one). Doing nothing would just continue the status quo of family disunity. Under the pressure and circumstances, she made her decision and also the mistake of misreading not just Suraj, but also herself. She tried quite hard to convince Suraj and herself that she was doing the right thing, but a simple french kiss was enough to bring out her fakeness (which she wrongfully presumed was required to do the right thing). This, I think, was her only (unavoidable) mistake.

@ UMDU ji - Thank you for adding your thoughtful input, and making much more clear the point I was trying to make. One of the unique things of DABH is that the CVs don't try to force the story through characters, but rather create plausible situations and then show how each character, based on his/her history and character traits, would react in these situations.
