So,the judges of WTC are teaching its contestants to indulge into a ruthless rat race?
Don't care about humanity, don't worry if someone is dying, you gotta concentrate and win!you have a task to do..GO AHEAD AND DO IT! Why on earth are you worried about others? It's your life on the line, your reputation on the line, your reward and recognition for your talent on the line.So go ahead and take care of yourself first and then think about others.

Were they right?Should people actually become heartless and ruthless to achieve success in life? Or is it possible to maintain some humanity and love for humanity and still triumph? Is it
necessary to be stone-hearted and move on in life.Aren't humans given the abilitly to respond to the situation around them.Is it not our responsibility to uphold the best of humanity and live in peace?

I am not criticizing CV's here.I don't even know what they might talk about in the next episode. And moreover, I am myself not sure about what would my answer be or how would I react if I were in the position Suraj was today. I just wanna know what you guys here think on these two things-
1)If you were in Suraj's position today, what would you do?
2) What is your take on the entire matter,What is your opinion regarding all the questions that I've posed above?

brilliant post 👏... thought provoking ...thanks for coming up with something like this!

1)If you were in Suraj's position today, what would you do?
its so difficult to answer ... sitting here i can probably write the most idealistic answers ever ... all i'd like to say is there is nothing more noble than saving a life on earth ... but to truly answer your question i'd have to be in Suraj's shoes in that moment with that dream ... so i really donno what i would have done ... i'd be confused for sure!

2) What is your take on the entire matter,What is your opinion regarding all the questions that I've posed above?
bang on! loved every question you have raised ...
what if the guy was genuine and something happened to his mother just coz he couldn't get her to the hospital on time ... imagine Suraj in the heat of the moment refusing ... and later getting to know that the lady who could be saved had she got to the hospital on time ... how does a guy like Suraj or anyone for that matter live with this guilt all his life (knowing that you may have had a hand in this indirectly) ... no million dollars can rid that feeling!

I don't think people should go heartless in competition like this. This isn't a one time opportunity. This is organized every year. So what's the big deal.

I found it quite unfair on the organizer's part to resort to such tricks just to increase the trp of the reality show.

Regarding your question:

1) If I would have been in place of Suraj, I would have of course given the money as he did. Even if he had asked for Rs 500, I would have given it anyway, considering that saving a life is more precious than any competition.

2) Its okay for a reality show to dramatize but that doesn't mean you resort to such cheap tactics, trick innocent and helpful people and make merry afterwards. When its a matter of life and death, anyone will be really confused what is to be done.

McE, I agree with you... I'm so glad that the CVs actually showed the very human side of suraj though he was nervous for the competition...That is what I call heroism

To tell the truth if I were suraj, I doubt I would help becoz my concentration will be on the competition, most probably I will ask the family member who came with me to help the guy... but if there's no competition I would definitely help the guy, may even go until the hospital to help the mother.

Good post Nainaji... We dont know what is ther in CV's mind and how they gonna twist the tale today and this incident might become sooraj's golden egg..bcoz with less money he might have created a wonderfull dish... so lets see hows they gonna show..
for you question... i would have surely given some amount of money not as much as he asked... as sooraj said competition will come next time but life?!
One wonderfull thing of CV's... Even though we know the last results about the copmetition and future track still the suspence they are creating in us is appreciating... atleast i am enjoying...

1.I'm not sure what I would do if I were in Sur's position... The actor pleading for his mom sounded very convincing but was part of a con... Such things can happen in real life too... I dont mean everyone is out to con people but some wisdom and common sense would not go amiss ... Utimately, I'd go with what my inner voice tells me...

2.The organizers shouldnt have talked to Suraj that way... Atleast this is a fictional show, imagine the poor real people judged by simon cowell, gordon ramsey etc!... In the WTC's defence, the participants were there for a purpose- to achieve a result- and they were right in their place .. In Suraj's defence, winning this competition is not a life or death matter unlike that potential time sensitive situation was, so he was right in his place...

So No-no to the rat race approach and Yes-yes to wise compassion...

Challenging questions Naina, I've been trying to answer these satisfactorily since morning!😆

Another sensible post from your end Naina. ⭐️ 👏 🤗

1)If you were in Suraj's position today, what would you do?

If I was in place of Suraj then definitely I'll put all my focus n energy only on competition but deep inside heart I'll pray to lord to send angel to help that lady out n get rid her from illness as quickly as possible.😳

2) What is your take on the entire matter,What is your opinion regarding all the questions that I've posed above? How will CV's come up with tonight's episode interesting to watch since DABH airing social messages from the beginning. I hope there is something really noble message store behind that scene.⭐️

Were they right? The way whole scene portrayed wasn't right at all. 👎🏼 Nowadays, In Reality shows we've seen that Judges are kind in their comments I mean wordings they use for criticizing someone is more in dignified manner not so harsh that Someone's confidence will break up into pieces on the spot.

Should people actually become heartless and ruthless to achieve success in life? This is tricky question to answer. If you ask any person to define success???😍 They'll define success with monetary rewards But Why they fail to understand that real sign of success is humility, isn't it?

Is it possible to maintain some humanity and love for humanity and still triumph?
Your previous question answer lies in this question. 👍🏼

Necessary to be stone-hearted and move on in life.Aren't humans given the ability to respond to the situation around them.Is it not our responsibility to uphold the best of humanity and live in peace? Person is made up of values, experiences, what he/she loves doing. It's not everyone's cup of tea to come out from bad impressions of the past because that incident tangles in their present moment.(Observe it because majority of people in this world suffering from this disease which don't allow them to remain true up to themselves n as a result they lack of humanity values n they become a stone-hearted😃.)

I hope I'm able to answer of your quests.😉 🤗

I was seeing Suraj's face and it showed that he wasnt very pleased with the whole idea. Sandy's expression as usual was inscrutable. She seemed sad, not sure if its because Suraj was stuck with only 3 dishes because of his generosity, scared of what would happen to the contest or like Suraj - not very happy with the idea.

Although i can sort of understand what they want from this, I still don't think this was right.

Tnj, Your reply exactly match mine to some extent.Even I am still in a state of confusion as to what would I do if I were in that position.I've no idea!!About your answers to the second part, again you put my thoughts into words. What if the whole thing was real? It would have been even more miserable for Suraj to answer the judges's raised eye-brows when they would've not actually even know what went wrong.

Sibal, you seem very sure of the circumstances and your stand regarding the issue. Glad to know

Niruba,i am glad too that they showed Suraj do what her did. And nice answer from you.We might actually stick to doing what we are doing instead of being concerned about a stranger.

Apkavishwa, nice to know your views. Yeah, they have got me hooked too.But I must admit,I'll get bored soon if they prolong this WTC a bit too much.

Nishaji, you probably got the best word there. "WISE COMPASSION". Me agrees! You did answer my q's satisfactorially. All the replies are making me think over the whole issue more even amidst all the other things that I have my mind on.

Ami, by far the most dissected answers and yeah sound ones too! I am still not sure what have CV's done(yet to watch the epi)I specially liked your discussion on monetary rewards and humanity.Money is a necessity. But what we sometimes forget is what is the right amount of money to life a satisfied life!

Thanks for your opinion Shahsantosh

Thankies Ramya

Yeah Quarky, things like these are just not Suraj's cup of tea.He lives for others.it wouldn't matter much to him even he lost the competition if the whole thing was real and had he actually saved someone's life.Sandy is like Suraj too in this regard. But probably she's yet to know the complete story and was confused more than anything else
