Sandhya should throw Hot oil on SUraj - Page 2

Boring now watching Suraj these days. He is so full of poison.Even though CVs are trying to show he is acting for Sandhyas sake. He is being very cruel to put her through so much . Rathi family is instigating her to do all these chore and then plan so she fails.

That's a bit extreme.. Granted he isn't being nice to her, but he doesn't deserve to be burnt.

And people are forgetting that he probably doesn't care that Sandhya can't do all the things his family want her to do. He is just using it against her because he thinks she wants a divorce even though he has supported her all this time. Even though she's not the kind of daughter-in-law his family wanted, he supported her, but now that he thinks she wants a divorce he no longer sees it necessary for him to support her, it's no longer his responsibility and since she never appreciated it why should he care. I think that's what he thinks.

I mean if you were in his position, and your partner wanted to divorce no matter how supportive you were to them even when others were against them, would you still support that person who doesn't care about your feelings and plans to leave you?
I know she doesn't want the divorce, but he doesn't know that..

I just want them to be together happily.😳

I agree with ummesulaiman & yes Zaina has raised her children brilliantly. I can understand that how Sandya do not have any kitchen skills. Just want to share my own experience to explain this point. When I came to the UK as a new bride I did not know how to cook even though I came after finishing my Masters in Sociology. I was never interested in cooking & was allowed to pursue my interest of study, literature & novels. In festival times my sister would help my mum in cooking & I would tidy up the house. My husband taught me to cook even the basic rice cooking - Thank God he is just like the good Suraj, I am now a very good cook. I am saying all this to point out that Sandya was only 19 & was very much involved in her studies & tell me whether a mother would want to bring her ladly daughter to the kitchen when she has other exiting things to do.

"Besides, her parents instilled in her good manners, respectfulness, truth and righteousness." as US mentioned, we have never seen Sandya loose her good manners - she did not shout back to Suraj after all his taunts. One thing I admire about Sandya - no matter how much insult & hurt she endured, next day she bounce back to do another test, another trial. Brave girl!

hi excuse no point getting all defensive, i think my mate you just strted watching this show, yes suraj & his mother are a piece of thrash who have no humanity. what else do you want sand to do lick there feet, the poore thing has been taunted & humiliated so much by that wicked witch santosh who treats her own hubby like thrash but expects her bahus to treat her spineless boys god

for ummesulaiman dont wory ithe west perants have to work very hard to keep their kids on the right path but back home most of the things they learn from the sosciety and culture around them but to tell you the truth i use to feel that even my bones have been crushed with all that hard workbecause my husband died when all ny children were studing. my principal is that i never iterfior int my boys and girls household.

sand made it clear to suraj & asked him to find happiness elsewhere as she doesnt feel anything for him but this halwai chose to stay with her. this show nothing but stagnating the same torture sand bore has been going for so long that you want to smash your screen & say to the creators shows something new, saw over dose of such concepts in the 90's.

star plus is about new soch but this show is about ancient soch of bechari bahu & ever so loud, over the top, annoying & screaming loud mouth witch of a ma-in-law treating her bahu as some animal & not human. what happen to all those tall claims our show is fresh about a girls dreams & her hubby supporting against all odds. but for the 4 months this thrash concept has us tearing our hair out & screaming at screens for sand to speak up & stand up to the unfairness dished out to you & for bahbo the big giant bully to shut up & now her illiterate son is ehaving like a wounded animal, so no not sandh but these to bullies need shoooting

I don't know who this was aimed at but I don't think anyone agrees with the way Sandhya is being treated, but people have different views on what she should be able to do. Some people think it's enough that she is educated while others think she should learn how to do household chores more effectively. I guess it'd be best if she was somewhere in the middle.

And Suraj hasn't been bad to her for the last couple of months, It's quite recent, so he's not to blame for eveything bad that has happened to her..

And I haven't just started watching the show lol, so I know what I'm saying.

Coming to our show , her Father never wanted her to enter Kitchen , he used to say , i ll get a guy more educated and uske Layak . Suraj is completly Different to her past Life , Even she is trying to learn his world , she need a good trainer

I agree...just because a woman is educated, it doesn't mean she shouldn't also be able to learn to cook and manage her household. Millions of women across the globe, whether they sweep peoples house or work in corporate offices, do this quite successfully.

However, If I were you, I would give Sandhya the benefit of the doubt here, because she was raised differently.

She was the youngest, only daughter...her parents allowed her to focus on her dreams.

Her mother probably thought she too would teach Sandhya how to cook and what not, before she got married. Unfortunately for both of them she never got the chance.

I don't think so...she shouldn't be penalized or frowned upon just because she didn't anticipate the future. Besides, her parents instilled in her good manners, respectfulness, truth and righteousness. Almost anyone can learn to cook...even if it is just from a book...but those sanskar can't be bought anywhere.

Also I have to disagree about one thing you said...

Sandhya has never ever shown the slightest hint of pride with regards to her education...at least I've never seen it.

I don't agree with the thread maker about throwing oil on anyone...but I know it's probably a methaphorical way of her venting her frustration at the current track...and she's entitled to her POV...😆

I really like Suraj and I know he is hurting. And he's doing a natak for Sandhya's benefit...

However I don't like the way he's doing it...his biting words...his sudden display of anger...his blatant rudeness...doesn't justify what he's trying to achieve...even if it is...in his opinion for Sandhya's benefit.

In the end everyone should remember this not a Suraj versus Sandhya fest...we all would like for them to overcome their misunderstanding and be together...

Agree with all ur points...but in today's world everybody knows how to make a cup of tea,which is a basic thing.
