I really like Sandhya a lot but sometimes I feel that her ignorance in household matters is exgarated.

I mean, it was heights when she mixed the rice and milk to make kheer.

I can understand that she was really studious but even studious girls or boys go to the kitchen and keep track of what is going on around them.

A boy who does not have interest in cooking will also have a vague idea of how kheer is made.

Sandhya was imbalanced. She was good at studies but she did not keep track of normal day to day activities.

Sandy saying i dont know how to cook was a poor show on her own family her mother never taught her to cook even the simple things like tea...her SIL gave her all the recipies why didnt she read the the recipies and try and memorize them like she did when suraj showed her in one night how to cook a few dishes...she has let her self down and also her SIL

atleast sandhya shd hv known the ingredients of making tea
it was shown that sandhya didnot know how to make tea nor abt its ingredients properly ,it was suraj who taught her (during their pushkar dharamshala episodes after marriage) 😕
i was like 😲😲😲😲😲😲😲 as if sandhya landing from some foreign country 😲😕 and not knowing anything 😆😆😆😆 that was tooo...much by the makers of the show😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆

though I also don't know how to cook 😆as I am a student but I still know how to prepare tea anyone would 😆as tea is the most easiest thing to prepare and even kids may know how to prepare tea but I don't know the method to prepare kheer😔.🤣

Well , she was shown as studious and quick learner, wiht suraj teaching her at night , she did rem everything , she understands wat going on around her , just she is naive to kitchen world that alone wont make her imbalance person

Agree with J.

Even though we know what ingredients are used and how to cook, it is difficult to cook perfectly for the first time. It is with trials and errors, we could learn.

exactly, and they showed the same thing with her making tea for her bro ... and more over she never had any reason to enter kitchen , her mom and dad never said or encouraged her to try her hand, so

Agree.

I'm the same- I'm 17, a student and I don't know how to make tea the Indian way even though I know what is used in it.

I don't think this alone makes her an imbalanced person, she just never needed to know how to cook- her family did everything and marriage wasn't around the corner for her when her parents were alive, I think.

Kheer isn't an easy dish to prepare unless you know how to make it, even then it doesn't come out perfect all the time. At least she was wise enough to work the ingredients. As for the tea it was a bit too much, didn't she ever make herself a cup of tea when she was at home? My eight year old makes her own breakfast, tea and toast and we like in the UK and are all educated.

Someone mentioned the recipe book, to be fair she didn't know this will happen to her book, so I guess she was relying on that.😭
