credit for image Meervan SJEver since i came to know about Sangeeta being in Divya Dhrishti that too as a Pisachini, got me curious about her role.
Knowing this show is a Fireworks Production ( one which churned out hit shows like CID, Aahat & my personal favourite Surya the Super Cop) plus the fact Sangeeta Ghosh was starring in it sufficiently piqued my interest enough to take a look. And I was not disappointed.
I still remember her early Show Des Mein Niklla Hoga Chand. Those famous deep cut blouses & Pammi when she goes "Sai Sai". A phrase coined specially for her. For when her bosom dramatically starts heaving in the throes of an emotionally intense scene. Those who watched the show will know what i'm talking about.
I also watched her previous show Kehta Hai Dil Jee Le Zara. And I must say this lady is eternally beautiful in whichever decade is in. She looks just as fresh & youthful as she did in her yesteryears.
So you can imagine my happiness at seeing her again onscreen that too in my favourite genre.
The first episode had just rolled in and i was eagerly waiting for her entry. When she came in she really took me by surprise. Whatever preconceived notions i had about her role didn't prepare me for her as P. She literally blew my mind away and I loovvee it ! To still be able to be taken by surprise is a gift.
Her take on P is K3G's Poo only an eevil Poo. Vain yet looking utterly Fabu in those clothes ! ... Self-centered, Over the top... She's comical when she speaks with her americanized accent & entertaining as hell with her internal monologues. My personal fav's are her sarcastic quips & dishy one liners . Ooh & those hilarious song & dance routines 😆 You can't help but be amused by her antics.
At the same time she can turn very nasty without warning when crossed particularly if you get in the way of what she wants. Be warned ! She is not someone to be taken lightly.
In short Sangeeta slays it as a modern day Chudail. She's everything you could ask for in a stylish villain. I look forward to seeing more shades of this villain unfold in the episodes to come...
