Not necessarily.

A successor can be anybody, he/she doesn't have to have a connection with the predecessor. It's more like a replacement of someone. It's like a person didn't give his property to his son but made someone out of the family the heir of his assets.

Plus it's a supernatural show; think of it as the lord chose Shikhar to bestow the powers that guru ji had.

Shikhar is not related 2 guru ji , he is son of Rakshit's aunt & uncle who work secretly 4 pischani ( I don't know names), may be he is a negative character only

Rakshit ( grandson )& his mother Mahima( his daughter ) r only vanshaj of guruji .

Vanshak was the exact word used. His vanshak is from his own bloodline, that being of his surviving daughter and her son, rakshit. Rakshit it the person that gurudev was talking about and it has been made obvious.

Guru ji said that the third person to complete Divya-Drishti's powers will either be someone from his bloodline or someone who is the successor of his powers.

What I am saying is that Rakshit may be the bloodline guy but he might not be the successor. That is, Shikhar is the person whom guru ji was talking about; the one who will help Divya-Drishti in defeating Sachani.

I think Shikhar is the successor and a successor doesn't need to be of his predecessor's bloodline/lineage.

It's definitely not shikhar. That's probably too much dissection of guruji's words. It's clear rakshit is the third power belonging to his bloodline that guruji was talking about. Shekhar isn't even slightly in contest given he isn't of guruji's bloodline, so why would he be the successor? More seemingly the successor word was used as an alternative word to bloodline in gurudev's melodramatic monologue rather than talking about it as two different options.

Plus both girls are pulled towards rakshit, which is yet another indicator.

is not the direct successor of Guruji. So don't see the possibility

Im still not sold on D-Shikhar unless he is clued in on all things supernatural.

I still like Bi for her pairing. Creates a wonderful conflict for their relationship. You know opp sides Bi's identity vs enslavement | D's duty vs love. Makes the story more interesting

He has some special powers

But all of the 3ppl powers will come out only when they meet together or get together something like that

He can save the universe or something like that

Rakshit meaning is protector

So Rakshit is the one whom guru ji mentioned.

Just a dramatic twist though - What if we get to see that Shikhar isn't Rakshit's cousin but his real brother? 😆 That Rakshit's mom gave him away for some reason.
