Hannah gets home after a particularly exhilarating night concert. She changes out of her stage clothes, glances at the clock and decides that it isn't too late to call Lilly. She dials her number and Lilly picks up on the third ring.

Lilly: Hi.
Miley: Hey, Lilly! I just got home from the concert. It went amazingly well!
Lilly: That's great (her voice sounds kind of stuffy)
Miley (frowning): Are you all right? It sounds like you have a cold or something.
Lilly: No, I'm fine! It's just my allergies kicking off again.
Miley: That's too bad.
Lilly: So... did you have something special you wanted to talk about?
Miley: Yeah, I was wondering if you were free tomorrow. I thought maybe we could go to the mall and hang out for a few hours.
Lilly: That's great. I'll be over first thing tomorrow morning.
Miley: Awesome! So, I'll see you tomorrow then.
Lilly: Bye.

Miley hangs up the phone, feeling puzzled. Lilly hadn't seemed like her usual cheery self on the phone. As Miley is standing there, staring worriedly into space, Robby Ray comes into the room.

Robbie: Hey Miley... what's wrong?
Miley: It's Lilly.. she sounded weird on the phone... almost as if she'd been crying.
Robby: Did you ask her about it?
Miley: Yeah.. she said it was her allergies... but I don't think she was telling the truth.
Robby (putting his arm round Miley): Why don't you invite her to come round tomorrow?
Miley: I already did... She'll be here first thing tomorrow morning.
Robby: Well, that's great! I'm sure she'll tell you if anything is wrong.. She's your best friend after all.
Miley (smiling wanly): I guess you're right... I'm gonna go to bed now.
Robby (giving her a hug): Good night, honey.
Miley: Good night, Daddy.

Robby leaves Miley alone in her bedroom. She bites her lip and then gets dressed for bed. She falls asleep after a long time, wondering about Lilly.

Promptly at six o' clock the next morning, the doorbell rings. Miley is sleeping peacefully in bed and she jumps at the sudden noise. She clambers down the stairs, rubbing her eyes. She opens at the door and sees Lilly standing there. She gazes at her blearily, squinting in the bright sunlight. Lilly looks slightly preoccupied as she gives Miley a huge hug.

Miley (patting Lilly on the back): Hey, Lilly. What are you doing here so early? I was asl' hey are you crying?
Lilly (crying hard): Mymumsaidwearemoving!
Miley (worriedly): Calm down, Lilly' now tell me what's the matter?
Lilly (taking a deep breath): My mom says we're moving to New York.
Miley (stunned): What?
Miley (beginning to laugh): Oh, I get it! You're playing a prank on me, aren't you? Well, I actually believed you for a second!
Lilly: No, Miley. I'm not kidding. My mom has been offered a better job in New York and you know she's always liked the Big Apple. So we're going in a month. *starts to cry again*
Miley: But' you can't go!
Lilly (miserably): I know' I'm gonna miss you so much!
Miley: Oh no you're not! I've decided you're not going anywhere and that's that!
Lilly: Try telling that to my mom.
Miley: That's exactly what I'm going to do!
Lilly: But that's ridiculous Miley! You know she's never gonna listen to you!
Miley (frowning): Well' I'll think of something' for now let's just go outside' maybe the fresh air will give us some ideas!

Lilly and Miley head over to the park and they soon run into Amber and Ashley.

Amber: Oh look who it is... Silly Lilly and Smiley Miley.

Miley: Look, Amber I can't take this right now. Just get away from us!

Ashley: You might want to control your temper a little, Miley. We are your classmates after all and you don't want things to get unpleasant for you in school do you?

Miley (laughs): Oh, yeah, like it's not unpleasant anyway because I have to see you two every day. Hmmm.. now I wonder... could anything be more unpleasant than that?

Ashley: Watch your back, Stewart. You'll pay for this.

Lilly: Let's go Miley. Let them waste their time plotting stupid tricks that the principal will find out about anyway.

Miley and Lilly move on. Amber and Ashley shout insults after them but they ignore them. Oliver joins them and wants to know why they're looking so glum. After filling him in on the details, they walk together for a while. Miley stops dead in her tracks and turns to Lilly and Oliver, her eyes shining.

Miley: I just got a great idea!

Oliver and Lilly: What?

Miley: Listen to this!

Miley whispers her idea to Lilly and Oliver. They both look stunned.

Oliver: You know this might actually work!

Miley: Of course it will. Lilly, do you think you can do it fine?

Lilly: Sure! It'll be a piece of cake!

Miley: So let's set this plan in action!

Miley, Lilly and Oliver walk with Lilly to her house. Then they wish her good luck and leave. Lilly goes inside and finds her mom. She's sitting in the living room, drinking tea.

Lilly: Mom…can take a walk at the beach?

Lilly's Mom: Sure honey...Let's go...

Lilly's Mom gets ready and they both go for a walk. Couple of minutes later..Oliver and Miley are following them and Lilly is sad.

Lilly: Hey Mom, I'm really going to miss Miley and Oliver a lot...

Lilly's Mom: Agreed Miley is a really sweet girl and Oliver was really nice too. Talking about them, did u tell her yet we are moving?

Miley and Oliver both wave to Lilly and are about to go. They give her a hopeful smile.

Lilly: Mom… yess... I did tell her...

Lilly is about to cry. She was trying to hold her tears back, and looks around for a distraction for her mom to look at so she won't see her.

Lilly: Mom. Isn't this the place where you and Dad first met!

Lilly's Mom: Yes. This is also where he purposed to me too…
