@ all...coupla other things that i thought i should mention...

apart from the obvious contrast in the wardrobe choice of our lead pair, ridhima with the fussy overdone bit and armaan in his simplicity, inidcative of their personalities...ridhima the one given to too much thought and complications, while armaan is simple and suljha hua, as they say; the choice also represents the first fluch of love for ridhima. one always tries to look their best for their love. so with ridhima's first attempt apart from the dandiya sequence to dress for armaan, she knew immediately the appreciation in his eyes. recognised it for it was, cos was that not what she had worked for???? sajna hai mujhe sajna ke liye style....

Aarti: On your insistance, I am jus pasting what i sent you via PM... too tired and down with flu to be able to edit this further...will chip in later...again ... for now these are my observations

Colors: Armaan is wearing white and Ridzy is wearing Red...

Red is a significant color , especially when depicted w.r.t love... it could be crush, passion ( adeeper shade of red... presumably scarlet) , and jus the feeling of strong emotions...

White on the other hand is purity and a sense of calm... and complete amalgamation of all the emotions... that blend into one...

While Ridhima is still sorting out her feelings and basking in the glory of new found love... Armaan has walked the path and has sorted his feelings...and his varied expressions of love have blended into a single beautiful representation , a single most wish... to be with her...a complete surrender to that emotion...!!!

Its also contrasting to see Ridhima and Armaan are on teh extreme ends of the color spectrum... while Ridhima will have to walk quite a bit to get to the final stage of blending and reveling inthe pure emotion... Armaan is already there .. jus waiting! White and Red are indeed the extremes... it takes a lot of shades of varied hues that need to be blended with Red to bring about the color of white!

Will elaborate later! Brain is too fuzzy!

Other things I noted, perfect editing, none of the expressions are wasted... less dialuges and more expressive eyes... and its not jus AR but all the characters... more gestures... which speak and convey a lot more... which is why we tap on so much to the body language...

@aarti...so true! Even though I felt she was overdressed (more the bride than Sapna, like anu said!)didn't see it that way! Yes, for her it was special cause she sees the passion and fire reflected in Armaan's eyes whenever he looks at her! And for once I thought she was doing well in the expressions dept. too. Infact for once, she looked more in it and Karan not all there (concur with sareeta, gina and others that smthng is amiss!)

Like uall just hope the doom thing is nothing serious! And she is heading twrds jealousy...keep it that way!

btw..wud have loved to bring some knotty quotient in last night on the finger rub and neck touch in the knukkad!! And was glad the kada thing was deferred...they can bring it on when she is ready for it!

@ sareeta...brilliant!!!

here's what struck me...even in the 7 colours that white splits into due to prismatic effect, red being of lowest wavelength, still stands out the most....red also has healing properties, which is why infra red is therapeutic, while ultra violet is normally harmful...

yes white is an amlagma...the complete, red being its most striking component!! incidentally, red's my favorite colour!!!

Coupla thgs i want to add...

DMG has interested me mostly for two reasons...

The absolute everyday humour touch to it...no complicated read between the lines ,double entendres..seen that kinds...its plain simple clean real humour which manages to make way in between and after intense scenes to break the tension.Everytime we are driven to a point of doom they glide us to safety in a jiffy with the funny twists and turns..
In this i think the credit actually goes to the creatives, dialog writers who come up with the perfect cheesy endings and beginnings to the cliffhangers.Sometimes they are abrupt with the turns but it keeps them going and us too!

Another brilliant aspect of this show to me is how they have actually explored the sensual passion that is love and yes the emotion itself. We have a lota gud onscreen couples out there but there sure is something abt this pair and their onscreen love that touches our hearts deep down.
The actors ofcourse get the credit for the wonderful emoting, their chemistry their expressions.
But these intense sensual scenes in which are allowed to express their brilliance also take equal credit.
The bickerings, the silent pleads, the touches, the closeness all taken in the camera and edited to perfection to send a tingle down everyone's spine who is watching!!And by god it does! 😳 And thats an achievment i thk tingling the masses in one shot😉...

Excellent directorial touches indeed 😉

@ notty...yeah, the humour, when not deregatory and laughing at people, is at most times clean and simple and really good!!! and they do manage to lighten up the gravest scenes, so that as viewers we are never left feeling bereft! sensuality again is clean here, and not sleazy...its beautiful and just makes u wanna go awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww! not yech!! for editing and camera work i would like missy to comment, since i know nothing!!!

@ Arti every word you said is soo true !! Really with all that Masala which goes on on TV the silence in some scenes in DMG have shown that the creatives have given us what we want .. !!! and the color co-ordination was the proper and creative thinking of the whole team behind such an awesome show!! 😳

Nice post, Aarti!
Well, one more thing that i've observed and really like about this show is that there hasn't been any inter-mixing of the characters' personal lives. What i want to say is.. for example, only the family members and Armaan know that Riddhima is adopted.. The 'Raaz' of her adoption wasn't disclosed in front of the entire hospital staff, with extra loud background score.. as we usually get to see in the other shows!
The propanalol case is another example!

P.S: I'm sorry for any typos or grammatical mistakes.. am terribly down with flu and throat infection!
Will add more if anything else strikes my flu-occupied mind!
