Aarti, Sareeta, Ginak et al - I'm not exactly a silent reader - I tend to stay within the Atul Thread as a general rule, for no reason other than that which you are obviously and, quote rightly, affronted by. There is far too much repetition of ideas and posts on this forum, despite the pleas and warnings of the Dev. Team. I look forward to reading any post of yours because it is so beautifully and so creatively bringing forth the ideas that are prevalent in my mind too. So, even as a reader of your posts, it does take me aback when seeing a thousand other posts claiming the same ideas, the same interpretations as their own. A forum like this is for expressing one's opinion - and it is strangely disappointing to see people having the same "opinion" as someone who has previously expressed it, and so beautifully. Sometimes a scene is interpreted by many people in the same way, yet the way that the interpretation is articulated MUST always differ; after all, there is an opinion for every person on this planet, and no two snowflakes are exactly the same.

So, I support your plea and position and urge people to be CREATIVE - creativity seems to be fast disappearing from this forum and from IF in general...plagarism is a crime, and even if people can't take that seriously, they should at least feel even a hint of shame that the ideas they convey are not in any way their own. Intellectually, if not morally, they should feel embarrassed.

@psawyer, when we receive such equivocal support from moderators who are also vehemnt in their disapproval of 'inspired ideas', it just adds that extra credibility to our angst. thank you so much for this!!!

i must admit aarti everytime u and sareeta write a post it really astonishes me... the great language and good command over english is surely evident but in addition to this the word and emotions by which u both interpret ur opinions suggestions and ideas are great
though i might have at times not agreed with u but most of the times ur posts are quite needful and insightful...

i have always appreciated annd admired sareeta but now i have another name in my list...

comming back to the point...this was surely needed the moment i visit the forum i have think hard and choose on which topic might really be worth reading as most of it are always same... the psychology behind making an episode and the expected reactions are on the whole similar but then some difference of opinion or deviation rather creative outlook is and should be there..moreover before posting any topic i agree that one should spend time to look out if theres someother whos posting it or has posted it... coz when someone has posted an innovative thought and a third member comes and posts the same idea...with some mirch masala added to it -if that post is recognized or replied more that the original post it would really hurt the first person... we should understand this fact and avoid this and if we have unknowingly done something like we can always edit our posts ...

i sincierely appreciate aarti and sareeta to put forward some fabulous and much needed points to think over and thank the moderators too for bringing it to our notice by keeping it on sticky ...
