SR OS Second Chances Part 6

Recap:- Riddhima is in Ambala and meets Siddhi Modi and is completely smitten with her. Siddhi comes to see her papa in his den who has returned after 2 days.

Ab aage:-

Siddhi runs to her dad's den almost shouting "Papa, Papa".

Hearing Siddhi's call Siddhi's Dad turns around and sees her almost crashing into him.

Siddhi's Dad(in a deep husky voice):- So how is my princess and what did she do these 2 days.

Siddhi's Dad is none other than Siddant Modi.

Sid:- Okay first of all where is my princess kiss.

Siddhi kisses both the cheeks of Sid and sits on her Dad's lap forcefully and recounts all her activities and what all she did for the past 2 days when he was out on tour. Siddhi talks and talks and fills in all little details for her dad. Then she comes to the part where she met Riddhima.

Siddhi:- Dad and then there is one more thing. I met a good aunty who played mother game with me. Bechare she is all alone and we played a lot together.

Sid is shocked to know that Siddhi has met a stranger.

Sid:- But beta you shouldn't talk to strangers right. Why did you go there and play with a stranger.

Siddhi:- What to do papa. She was a Ma and I wanted a Ma. You never get me my Ma.

Sid is very hurt on hearing this and hugs her. He plays with her and feeds her and then in the night Siddhi sleeps peacefully in Sid's arms. Sid lifts Siddhi and keeps her in her princess room. He kisses her good night and comes back to his den. Sid's mind wanders to the last 5 yrs, his life with Riddhima and his accident. Sid opens a drawer and takes out the only photo he has of Riddhima, the one he always liked,of him filling Riddhima's maang during their first wedding. That was the only photo he has of Riddhima as that was the photo which was in his wallet when he had that terrible accident.

Sid's mind wanders to the day 5 yrs ago when he came to know that Riddhima had erred and that one moment broke his dream world. He just wanted to be with himself alone for some time and so asked the manager for a car for a drive. Little did he know that the car had brake failure and he lost control of the car and fell into the cliff. But before the car went up in flames he was able to jump out of the car but he fell into a deep gorge. Luckily for him the villagers found him and took him to Dr.Mehta who was a visiting doctor from Ambala.

Dr.Sachin Mehta was a kind hearted person but he was a loner. He was not a strong person and in his youth he had loved a girl but he couldn't ask her with courage because she was rich. The parents of the girl arranged for her wedding to another guy and on the wedding night the girl came to Sachin but Sachin just didn't know what to do. Before he could react and fight for his love it was all over for him and the parents of girl took her away. Eventually the girl died as she couldn't forget her love and was never happy in her married life and Dr.Mehta was left with only regret. Regret that he didn't fight for his love when he had a chance. Regret that he was not strong enough to accept it and he knew that love rarely gives you second chance.

When Dr.Mehta saw Sid in his injured state he was very sad. Sometimes you just find an unknown bond an instant feeling of knowing them with a complete stranger and that was the same feeling that Dr.Mehta had when he saw Sid. He was supposed to return back the next day but he stayed back for 1 month till Sid regained conscious. Sid was going in and out of conscious state and in between he kept on mumbling about Riddhima.

After 1 month Sid regained conscious and when he was little better Dr.Mehta took Sid to Ambala. Sid too took an instant liking to Dr.Mehta and in him he found a father figure and philosopher. Sid explained every thing to Dr.Mehta about his life and his love and his marriage and the betrayal he had and the accident. Dr.Mehta instantly knew that Sid loved Riddhima a lot but right now he was not in the state to listen to reason. Somehow Dr.Mehta couldn't believe that after so much has happened there is no way Riddhima would want to be with Armaan.

Dr.Mehta:- Sid. Why don't you talk to Riddhima once. Maybe you didn't hear the full truth. Maybe there was some mistake. You know sometimes we lose love not because we don't see it but because we don't react at the correct time. Please talk to her once.

Sid:- No Uncle. I don't want to go back. I don't want to talk to Riddima. I am a doctor and if you permit I want to stay here and work with you.

Dr.Mehta was more than happy that Sid wanted to help him out in Ambala. Dr.Mehta was in need of a good doctor and soon Sid and Dr.Mehta bonded a lot just like Dad and son. Dr.Mehta started to see Sid as his son, a son he never had.

Soon 6 months pass by and one day they have a patient a young widow who was pregnant. Both Sid and Dr.Mehta tried to save her during the childbirth process but she delivers a baby girl and gives it in Dr.Mehta's hands and dies. Both Sid and Dr.Mehta felt sorry for her but they knew that the little girl needed a father and somehow they couldn't give the child to an orphanage.

Dr.Mehta:- Sid I don't think I am young enough to be a father to this small girl. Can you take the responsibility of this girl.

Dr.Mehta places the girl in Sid's hands. Sid is so happy and one look at the girl and he is completely sold out. He volunteers to be the father of the girl and names her Siddhi(achievement).

Sid:- Siddhi Modi. I hope you will be happy with your papa.

Dr.Mehta:- Sid why did you name her Siddhi.

Sid:- That was the pact I had with Riddhima Uncle. If we had a girl we would name her Siddhi and if we had a boy we would name him Riddhiman(possessor of good fortune). So that was the only name I want to name my girl.

Sid was very happy carrying Siddhi in his arms and went out of the room. But little did he know that Dr.Mehta had noticed the pride and the love in his eyes when he spoke of his wife and the name Siddhi. Dr.Mehta was convinced that Sid was still in love with Riddhima and if Riddhima too was in love with Sid then he decided that he would do anything to have them together.

But the problem was Sid. He just didn't want to contact Riddima and no matter what Dr.Mehta said Sid used to not agree to it.

Dr.Mehta(after 6 months):- Sid, it's been almost 1 yr. Siddhi is now 5 months old. I think as she grows she needs a mother. Why don't you see if Riddhima is there or why don't you get married the second time around. Believe me beta life is very hard to spend alone.

Sid:- No Uncle I will not contact Riddhima. Never and I don't think I will marry again. I am already married and I have a wife. So there is no question of me marrying again. And why do you think it is hard to live alone Uncle, I have Siddhi with me and I will love her more than myself. Uncle promise me that you will never ever contact Riddhima.

Dr.Mehta had to give in to Sid's demand and he promised not to contact Riddhima or bring her name up again. Sid was true to his word and literally showered all his love over Siddhi. She was his princess and she was the apple of his eyes. Even all the staff at Ambala hospital soon forgot that Sid had adopted Siddhi and they only knew Siddhi was Sid's daughter. Sid brought his daughter with all the love he had and also with the good values he had. But looking at them Dr.Mehta used to feel bad. He knew that Sid still loved Riddhima.

Dr.Mehta(thinking):- If only I knew where Riddhima is and if only I knew what she feels. I have lost my love because I was not strong enough but you deserve your love and I will make sure you get it. Oh God please give me someone to help find Riddhima for my son Sid.

chal coming 2 ur update...it's just beautiful yaar....I've always wanted to see the father side of Sid...nd u gave me that so beautifully thnx a ton for tht...nd Sid...haiyeeeee....he is such a sweet, caring, nd loving father...luv Siddhi...she's so sweet...nd Dr.Mehta...he's nice man 2...lykd his nd Sid's relationship...nd awwwwww....Sid truly luvs Riddhima...he still loves her...gr8 update nd luvd hw used Flasbacks...it makes it really easy 2 understand....nd to be honest...i had tears in my eyes reading the part where Siddhi says you never get me my Ma...how sweet....nd now plzzzzzzzzz unite Siddhima soon...I'm eagerly waiting for it....plzzzz let Siddhima meet now...!!!
