Hey Kiran yeah now we kind of have become buddies. I think this is the 3rd OS you are reading of mine right. So enjoying the OS. Thanks for your wonderful comments. I will try to update in another day or so. My some regular commentors have not yet commented. Hence waiting for them.

Guys me in good mood today so I post the 4th part today. This was supposed to come in tomorrow but since I am bherry bherry happy today I am posting it now.

SR OS Second Chances part 4

Recap:- Riddhima decides to move on in life just like Sid wanted. She joins Sanjeevani and Armaan sees her playing with kids.

Ab aage:-

Armaan:- Riddhima. I need to talk to you.

Hearing Armaan's voice Riddhima freezes. The voice which once upon a time was all she ever wanted to hear, the voice for which she died a thousand deaths in Panchgani, the voice of the person for whom she took a bullet, the voice around which her entire life revolved once upon a time and then the voice which told Sid the terrible truth.

Armaan comes near Riddhima and sees her. He is happy to see her as happy as a person walking in desert would be on finding an oasis.

Armaan:- How are you Riddhima. I wanted to come to talk to you many times. But Dr.Shashank stopped me. In my heart I knew you would come to Sanjeevani one day. All I did was to wait for that day and you are here. Riddhima .....

Riddhima(cutting short him):- Armaan can we talk sometime later. As you can see I am with my patients right now.

Armaan:- Theek hai Riddhima. Can you come to the changing room once you are done. I will wait for you.

Riddhima nods and Armaan goes away. Armaan waits in changing room for Riddhima. He is very happy that Riddhima wanted to talk to him.

Armaan(thinking):- I know Riddhima Sid was a very nice person and he loved you a lot too. But he would have wanted you to move on in life and look at this way that Sid going away is a signal from the god that maybe we always were meant to be together. That is the reason I could survive the accident and I am here with you and trust me once you agree to marrying me I will talk to everyone in your house and I will make them agree. I will make you mine Riddhima.

Thinking this Armaan gets lost in old memories of Riddhima and him. Riddhima meanwhile finishes her work in the ward and walks towards the changing room. She knows that one day or other she has to face Armaan and she has to make Armaan see the truth, her only regret is that she couldn't do it on the honeymoon night.

Riddhima walks into the changing room. As soon as she walks in Armaan gets up.

Armaan:- Riddhima believe me I never wished ill of Sid. All I wanted was to Sid to know the truth. But now it is all okay. I know Sid would have wanted you to move on. I want to move on in life with you Riddhima. What do you say.

Riddhima:- Truth. How strange is that Armaan that you wanted Sid to know the truth when in fact it was you who should know some strange truths. How strange is that you are happy that Sid is no more so that you can make me yours. Is this what you want. I never knew that the person I once loved is so shallow that he can be happy when he has caused a marriage to break and has taken a person's life.

Armaan:- Stop it Riddhima. I know you were never happy in that marriage. Why do drama that everything was hunky dory between you and Sid.

Riddhima(now getting angry):- Stop it Armaan. You should know some truths. You should know that on the day of my first marriage your basket had died. Yes Armaan I consumed poison so that I could die. It was Sid who saved me. It was Sid who breathed life in me when you were not there. It was Sid who was my support and it was Sid who built me piece by piece. You see I was never your basket after I consumed the poison. Your basket died Armaan. What you see in front of you is and always will be Sid's Riddhima. I never can be yours in this lifetime nor in the coming lifetimes as I am Sid's for saath jaanam.

Armaan who never knew all this was completely shocked. All this time he thought that Riddhima married Sid due to pressure from family but now to know the entire truth why Riddhima married and what Sid means to her devastated him. Had he known the truth he wouldn't have come close to her that day and he wouldn't have caused the death of Sid.

Armaan :- Riddhima but that day .....

Riddhima:- That day it was a human mistake Armaan. I was waiting for Sid to come so that we can be together forever and I never knew it was you who came in instead of Sid. What all I told you was meant for Sid. I couldn't explain to you because you kept on taking me back on a guilt trip.

Armaan(now tears in his eyes):- I am sorry Riddhima. I never knew all this. I wish I can do something.

Riddhima:- If you really want to do something Armaan for myself and Sid then please move on in your life. Sid would be very happy to know that his brother has finally let go of his past and has moved on.

Saying that Riddhima walks out of the changing room leaving a teary Armaan behind.Something has ended for her and Armaan. The beautiful past they had was never meant to be the present. Riddhima knew the truth and it was time that Armaan too faced it.

The next day Armaan moved out of Sanjeevani. He always came to Sanjeevani to win Riddhima back and all this time he stayed in the hope that one day Riddhima would be his. But today he knew that his basket was no more. The Riddhima he knew was never his and was always Sid's. The only regret he had was that he didn't know this truth earlier. Before going he wished Riddhima all the good luck and promised that he would really move on in his life.

Riddhima never thought of Armaan again in the last 5 yrs. The only time Armaan came in conversation was when Sue came to meet Riddhima 3 yrs back. Sue had become her support after Sid's death. She used to come to Mumbai whenever she could. One day Sue bought the topic of Armaan asking Riddhima why she couldn't marry him now that Sid is no more.

Riddhima(with tears in her eyes):- Sue I can never marry Armaan. Sue I have been and always will be Sid's Riddhima. I did one small mistake and god snatched me the chance that I could explain to Sid what had actually happened. I wanted to end my life too but I knew that I can't dishonor Sid's gift to me. Sid's love is my gift and I am going to be happy all my life with his gift. I can never be anyone's but Sid's.

Sue hearing this breaks down and hugs her bhabhi. She knew that Riddhima loved Sid but never knew that Riddhima has fallen this deep in love with her superboy.

Sue:- Oh Bhabhi. I just hope love gives you another chance, that destiny helps you somehow.

Riddhima's train of thoughts break as she hears a train whistling past the fields of Ambala. How strange that her thoughts ended with Sue's words, the words she spoke about destiny.

Riddhima(thinking):- Destiny. I hope destiny has some mercy on me Sue. I hope so.

Riddhima silently cried in the night and then went back to sleep. 5 yrs passed by but everyday and every night Sid was the only one Riddhima thought of. If only she could tell him what had happened that day and if only she could tell him how much she loved him. If only she could get a second chance with Sid. If only ...........
