anywho, let's say, for the sake of arguement, that A & R have not changed at all, neither as indivisuals and nor as lovers. how do you think they would react if they were to be told that, 'hey! you both can now go back to being together!' ?

They have matured as individuals and thats the only change in them.The love is in the heart and THAT has not changed.People do change here we are talking about the love they have.

No. Way too much has happened between the two for them to get back together. They harbored a great love, but had to nurse greater pain. Riddhima's wounds have healed, and Armaan's will heal too, with a little more time and space. Would either of them want to take a scalpel and dig them again? No! As for the beautiful castles they had created, they can be best cherished as memories; I don't think they have it in them to rebuild those moments. Not because the times have changed, but because they have changed. Love lasts, but it also evolves. Theirs has evolved from romance to fondness. They are no more in love with each other. But, they are still fond of each other. With time, the fondness may evolve into a soothing friendship, which they had never known when they were in love. They will be connected as long as they live; but they have learned to grow apart from each other, which cannot be unlearnt now. And from where I see, they may just begin to understand each other better with these new equations in their life. Why would they want to go back from here?

Another thing being the human tendency to resist change. They have adjusted, accepted and embraced (R has, and A might very soon) the changes that fate threw their way. R has gone through a lifetime of misery and pain (and A is still going) before finally settling down. Would they want to disturb the new-found and long-desired calm of their life? No!

Lastly, a part of them has died, which they'll never know again. The innocence and charm of the first love has been buried. The doors of the past have been long locked; and are fading into an oblivion. Soon, they'll lose whatever iota of their existence is left. And, how can we get back to something which no longer exists?

Strictly my POV. No offence meant. I have been an AR fan myself :)

DMG script writers dnt put so much depth in their thought as much as ur putting in analysing AR and their future..I dnt know how u are analysing the show and what makes you think that Armaan dsnt love Riddhima anymore..frankly I found that statement childish if i look at your otherwise nicely written post..Armaan dsnt love Riddhima nymore?? do u really think that way? If you do,I have nothing to say to that..In my opinion,AR may not be together coz of the circumstances they are in,but they continue to be in each others thoughts..Armaan is 24*7 thinking about Riddhima,her happiness,their moments togther..Riddhima also does that but now she does doing that more openly..I dnt know what circumstances will lead to their reunion,maybe Sid realising( hopefully),but whenever thats will happen,it will be as beautiful as ever..at the end of the day,this is a show..they show a love story for 3 years,then a sudden terrorist attack,first Riddhima coming back as another character...its all in the hand of cv's,rite?..and u think they care about, what they showed earlier,what A and R went thru,how they have changed( i dnt think they have,thats another issue,u can call me biased,no problem)...naaaah! they'l show what they think will bring drama and trp's..AR reunion can bring just that..lot of drama and TRP's.thats what matters at the end of the day..thats the practical side..emotionall I can go on,about how AR can never be A and R.

i don think they would be the same chahe unka pyaar kitna pakka raha ho but the void in b/w wud always be there...
and now that sid is here in the scene it would be worst if they faced him after ne of this...
yes the shows name is dill mill gayye but what about the breaking of indian customs and values???
its a fact that it wouldnt be the same ever... they can be great friends if they try or want even but no love like that is not possible....

n i feel DMG is still an AR story.....the way they loved each other...the way they got separated....they way they still care 4 each other, 4 wich it doesnt bother them if sum1 elz is irritated wid their care 4 each other....the way they sacrifice 4 each other.....the way they think abt each other 24*7......n many more thngs.....
