Thanks dear 😃

I was all for distancing myself from AR too. And then I saw all the FBs and the ishq leta hai segment and the Bheegi si sequence I realized that they NEED to be together. For everyone's sake 😃

I agree that right now she is acting selfish, heartless, mean and totally being oblivious to his feelings. Or so we are made to believe.

See the point is even I would have loved to see AR as friends (for the time being), sharing their feelings and memories etc. But then when I think about it I wonder is it possible to be "just friends" with a person you still love. Friendship is a platonic relationship. AR can NEVER have a platonic relationship. They love each other too deeply for that. We know that every time AR are in close proximity they kind off get lost in each other or feel something for each other. Their feelings are no longer under their control then. (we saw that in lonavala, we saw it when Riddhima hugged him from behind, we saw that when Riddhima almost leaned in to kiss him in the FE after he had returned).

Now Riddhima we know is sincerely trying to work on her marriage and is trying hard to develop feelings for her husband. Obviously she knows that if she ever loses herself in front of Armaan and lets out her feelings, as a married woman she'll be being disloyal to her husband.

I think this is her way of keeping her feelings in check. By staying away from Armaan and by being not so friendly with him she's ensuring that she does not become weak and give in to her feelings for him. This is just a facade she has put on now.
She did this earlier too during the whole cupid track when she was being rude to him for no reason and we reacted the same way then. But in the garden when she broke down she confessed that her anger was a facade, that she was not angry at Armaan but at herself for letting him and his love down and for getting all of them into this situation.
I think something similar is happening now too. (this is just my POV I might be wrong)

All said and done I agree that her behavior right now is totally uncalled for. I hope the CVs give a suitable justification for this soon because otherwise they are just making her look really bi****.

But till then though I hate Riddhima Modi, I would like to give BASKET the benefit of doubt.
After all she was Armaan's BASKET once upon a time. She is what made Armaan the man we love so much today and most importantly she is one half of the eternal Armaan-Riddhima jodi and I will always love her for that.

Basket is in there. We just need to get her back. 😃

I undersetand why Riddhima is doing this..and its fair....anybody would go and fight for their love, especially if its "first love" which is in Riddhima's case...She always doubted Armaan's love for her, and when she was sure that the guy loves her more than his own life, she was then satisfied.
but then again there's a reason why Riddhima is behaving this way with Armaan now..It's Sid, someone whom she has genuinely started to care about, someone whom shes starting to fall in love with all over again, someone who taught her a whole diff. perspective about life..about love. That perspective connected with Riddhima instantly because her thoughts have always been the same, it was Sid who taught Riddhima how to love.
If she loved Armaan that much, and most importantly if she trusted Armaan that much, yeh stubborness ki zaroorat hee na parti. If its pretention, all for nothing!

Riddhima only doubted his love in the beginning. After the confession during KaSu times she has not once doubted his love for her once. After that she has always said that she knows Armaan loves her.

With your second para I completely disagree. I don't think that her behavior has anything to do with her falling for Sid or something. Yes she has feelings for Sid but you can't compare that with the extent of her LOVE for Armaan. I refuse to believe that Sid taught her how to love. Come on after all that happened between AR if someone tells me that she still did not know the meaning of love while she was taking a bullet for him then I don't know what to say.
I know Riddhima said that dialogue but I'm not gonna take it seriously. The CVs just copied that line from HDDCS without thinking it through. So i'm just gonna take it as a blooper.

I think she trusts Armaan more than her life. I think whom she does not trust is herself. She does not trust her feelings around him and hence the pretense.

Thats the point na. I don't think Armaan and Riddhima can ever love anyone more than they loved each other.

Armaan loved Riddhima with everything he had. Its not possible for him to love anyone else more than that.

Shilpa and Sid will always have the second place in Armaan and Riddhima's heart respectively.
Thats not fair to them. Both of them are good people who do not deserve to be second place in someone's heart. Thats why to be fair to everyone AR need to get together.

I said this in detail in a reply to someone else. So quoting that again.

"Its not the first, or second or third love etc which determines which is the strongest.
Its true love that determines it. Many a times you mistake infatuation, attraction, fondness, liking, etc for love. But then later you realize you just thought it was love but it was'nt (case in point Sid-Tam).
"True Love" or that "In love" thing happens only once and with only one person.
For Armaan-Riddhima that happened with each other. Riddhima was not the first woman in Armaan's life but she was the only one he "fell in love with". Armaan was the first guy in Riddhima's life and also the guy she "fell in love with".

And we can't deny that their love was the strongest kind you ever find. Armaan risked his life for her multiple times, preferred to die with her in a bomb blast rather than live without her,

chose to stay separately and fight his disease alone so that she could have a burden free life even though that was the one time he required love and support the most , died a miliion deaths every second as he tried to unite her and her husband because thats where he thought her happiness lied etc. If that is NOT TRUE LOVE then what is??

Even Riddhima, took a bullet for him and preferred to die rather than seeing him injured, she tried to kill herself rather than marry someone else, the miss perfect Riddhima went against her dad and broke all rules for him, cheated in an exam for him etc. If THAT'S NOT LOVE then what is??
"

The point is not that they were each others first love they are each others "True Love". Hence I don think he can ever love anyone else like he loves Riddhima.
