@Asma- GRP is Gross Rating Point. Its the product of the percentage of the target audience reached by an advertisement, times the frequency they see it in a given campaign.

vani we always knew this bcoz on a whole star one doesnt has much g8 shows...the reasons for dmg trp's down is also shift in time slot...and one if a strong script is in hand then def trp's will get boost up

I agree. But the technicalities do matter and play a major role. And this what Vinu said. As for the show being on no. 1 or no. 2, it doesn't matter now. This is coz the channel dsnt have a market value at present. That is why it is out of the GRP system. It no longer holds a position there. Vinu confirmed this with Mr. Mirchandani.

i agree but cv's need to write nicely too n dmg is a very popular show so it doesn't matter if it get trp's or not bcoz people love it unconditionally

thanks a lot vanita............i have not much idea abt the technicalities but yes compared to most of the star one shows DMG inspite of being on air for 3 years is doing much better.......and hope they tighten the show storywise too..........

i dont care for TRP i watch this show for ArSH even if they just shoe romace 24*7 and as long as they can show i will watch it without any demands and complain.

DMG has run for 3 long years only on actors and chemistry so it will further run on it too.
