In shruti's (GM) words it's because ridhz will never dream that sid wud be sent by shanky!! If it's Atul, nikki or abhi she will surely know shanky is behind this and will not take any help so Shanky chose Sid!!

There's no other story left for Sid right now. And it'll be a stupid move for the CVs if in the middle of all this Armaan hungama, it's shown Sid falling for another girl, or doing some other stupid stuff. So they chose Sid. Plus Yuvi needs to stay back for YuNa, JP & Jiggy are out of the question, and AbhiNikki are no where to be seen these days, and plus if Abhi, Nikki or Atul went it might be a little too obvious that Shanky sent them with her because they know about Armaan (not the real story, but yeah).

Sid doesn't know Armaan - or as Ridz thinks, so Riddhima would never suspect Sid. But idk what excuse he's going to give for wanting to go with her.

Plus CVs are acting smart. They know there are some people who want to Siddhima. They're keeping both sides happy - or trying to.

Ridhz is totally mad at shanky, blames him for everything and will not take any help wht so ever from him!!

Secondly, Shanky saw sid first on the bb court and for some reason he likes and admires siddy widdy a lot (when ridhz was complaining abt sid to shanky, he was all praises and in yesterday's epi to paddy he said ridhz is egoistic and was very mean to sid), so he decides the best guardian angel is Sid!!!
