Considering the fact that Sid's character was created to be one of the most pivotal to DMG 2, I'm guessing that by assigning Sid to be Ridz's "Guardian Angel" (ROFL!!! Imagine Ridz's reaction when she knows the truth!!!), they (AR) are trying to pass on the mantle to him so that after the Grand Finale, Sid's track becomes mainstream.

Here, I would also like to add that both Yuvi & Naina AND SidNa are important to season 2 too but agar saare tracks ko ek saath he expose kar denge toh show aagle 1000 episodes tak kaise pahunchega ??? 🤣
