Neeta!! Love the topic but I also have to agree with Soha!!
I think in a way it was justified. I know they never discussed or sorted out their issues but we know for months now how much they do love each other. They did get carried away in the moment but whats wrong with that? The only problem is how the show is going to deal with this. I have a feeling they are going to emphasize how big of a mistake this was when in fact I feel there is nothing wrong with that and its a personal decision people make for themselves. Ugh!! Not looking forward to the drama.

Although I genuinely think that the scene wasn't justified, The way it was handled is commendable. These kind of scenes can go horribly wrong & generally fall flat, and Frankly, when I realized that RM were going to consumate their relationship, I had a really uneasy feeling in my stomach about it (That's exactly how I felt when I was watching the scene! 😆), Considering the recent record of the creatives of handling intimate scenes, I was, infact, quite sure that this one would turn out to be no better. But the Creatives really surprised me this time ! It was done with alot of elegance, maturity, not for one moment did it look vulgar. All these factors overshadowed the fact that this scene wasn't really required.
I must give extra browny points to Mayank & Drushti for doing it so well 👏, It looked completely natural. Both of them did a great job, 👏 Kudos ! I am also glad that there was no Bolly number playing in the background or a dance to add to the spice this time, I was half expecting a song like 'Baahon Ke Darmiyan' to burst out from the BG when Rahul was carrying Muskan 😆
In the End, Even though it shouldn't have happened, It was a very well done scene, No *Ehem* Unwanted spices. Just right.

Great post! 👏
Have to completely agree with you on the bolded parts! I was not at all expecting this kind of twist between RM, but just the way the scene was handled...it felt convincing.
One thing I have to say is that I felt the scene was justified to an extent. When I read the written update first, so many questions bombarded my mind and I couldn't believe as to why RM would get carried away like this. But when I actually saw the episode, I understood the situation and felt it was justified to an extent because of overwhelming emotions, which probably jump-started their hormones! 😆
I wasn't expecting a Bollywood number to pop up in the background. (So glad that didn't happen!) I'm happy the creatives stuck to the trademark RM BG music. 😳

@Dangelz - I see your point, but I wasn't expecting Muskaan to succumb to her feelings so quickly, I was expecting RM to solve the underlying problems/issues first, But I guess expectations shouldn't be banked upon as definite outcomes. That's just me :)
Yeah, I was really glad there was no Bolly song in the BG, The scene would have become B-Grade if there was 😆

Even I wasn't expecting Muskaan to act on her emotions so quickly. I thought she would snap back. But I guess her emotional state was in such a form where she feared of losing him once again. So thats why probably she gave into the moment. It took me awhile to understand the scene and be convinced to an extent of the situation.
Haha...B-Grade...LOL! 😆

Agreed!
Although I dont agree with this scene happening, I'm really glad that it was at least shot maturely and nicely. And I'm in shock that there wasn't a bollywood number in the background this time😲
I hope for the best in how the situation will be handled now that RM are in this position.

Amazing post Neetz...
I'm gonna post my response that posted in another RM thread =)
Here:
Yeah, so after the promo, I though RM would just have a passionate moment and Muskaan will let go of all the grudges. But something a LOT more intense happened- RM consummated their relationship. If you think about the RM we had 3 months ago...nobody would have EVER thought that this day would come unless they got married. I mean I used to view RM as this ladta-jhagadta couple, who are always pulling each other's leg and having fun. I had no clue that separation could bring such intensity to their relationship.
But now, for the good, both of them have matured. Muskaan felt so vulnerable and unsure of Rahul's presence. She wanted to be happy because he was here now..but still didnt want to go through the turmoil of separation, which is why she was weak and couldnt think when the actual consummation happened. Her brain said dont do it, but her heart was in the mood of letting go....which is why the consummation happened.
As far as Rahul is concerned, he wanted to assure Muskaan, that he was here for forever now and he truly loves her :) Plus seeing her sad weakened him ...hormones took over his decision making skills 😆
The night wasnt an easy night for RM, as I've said earlier, the emotions were running high and the hormones were going insane.
