Hi guys, I'm here with another discussion.😊
I think the whole environment of Sanjeevani is so "Un-Doctorish", I know that's not a word, But it more or less explains my point. There are many factors which led me to this conclusion. The doctors in Sanjeevani have no dress code, Boys dress up as if they are Hrithik Roshans & Girls dress up as if they are Madhuri Dixits. They can wear whatever they want to, from a mini dress to half open shirts, and roam around the hospital like models. Apart from that, A hospital is a place which is generally bustling with activity, the environment of Sanjeevani seems slow & casual. It seems as if the doctors go there simply to pass their time, and not to work. They always have time for everything except for attending their patients.
The whole aura around Sanjeevani does not define "hospital" for me. There are no emergencies, no new patients, no OT scenes, infact there is no progress in their "intern life". All interns are still stuck at the place where they started from, atleast proffessionally. And the most outrageous thing is that they have "songs" in the hospital ?? Interns dancing like Item Queens in front of the nurse station, in the cafe, in the general ward....name the place & you've had a dance sequence there. Why don't we rename Sanjeevani as "Sanjeevani Discotheque" ???
I don't expect DMG to be completely realistic, because afterall it is a daily soap, & is meant for our entertainment, but neither do I want it to completey deviate from reality. Whatever is being shown in DMG today, is creating a wrong impression about interns & doctors in our minds, it is creating a "casual" impression. Internship is one of the most challenging phases of a doctor's life and DMG has downright insulted it.
I would like you all to post your views in a civilized manner, No Bashing & No side Remarks.
