Gone with the Wind

The episode was a collision of truth and betrayal. It was a choice Happy made to believe then, and a choice she compelled to see now. A mirror to herself and all that she believed in those 3 years. She came to know It was merely a show staged for her, so she doesn’t get caught in the chaos of lies which would have wreaked her soul and probably could have lend her to have a normal relationship with Rocky then. But who would dare to win from fate?

Today’s episode, broke me. I’d thought I would genuinely take a delight from Happy’s remorse because somewhere I was thinking she deserves that pain she unintentionally caused Rocky. Not just that, but she made sardonic comments on his character which pained him even more. However, today when she had a heartbreaking confrontation with Rocky, it was commendable. Ranveer confessed his own crime and it startled her as if thunderbolts hammering on her soul. Happy’s guilt swamped her and she became inconsolable, Rocky was in tears, and so was I. Happy couldn’t surpass the feeling of being betrayed by RV. She was keep chanting how she ruined Rocky’s life, how RV made her do it and she became oblivious to his lies. She only pleaded for forgiveness and nothing more. She can not change anything now, no one can. She can’t reverse the time and get Rocky those 3 years where he could have had a better life, like the way he had. She repented every detail while reminisced of the past. This guilt will haunt her every second, which she is aware of until Rocky truly forgives her.

Rocky saved her the same way as he did from the goons back then when they quickly scuffled inside the truck. He reminded her of the promise he made to not let her die so soon! She became maudlin and started crying like a child.

Let’s come back to Jasmine who literally stole the show today. Ansh was as usual at his best. No one can beat when it comes to emoting a scene with a right feel and Ansh always Ace it!

Today, a beautiful dedication to all those who waited impatiently for the meltdown. More than anything, i am happy for Rocky who longed to see what his Happy would say when she comes to know he was innocent.... and here his wish was finally granted as he witnessed all the unexpected reactions from the woman he admired Dil se! :)

Truly, they had a story of their own and finally the real characters meet.

I loved everything about the episode but the DOP. They should have used slow motions inspired by Dil Se re original song. Their DOP is not up to the mark. The camera work in Gul’s shows is usually excellent but this was disappointing.

Nonetheless, it was the moment we had all been waiting for. But trust me, Rocky has resigned and it’s evident from his face. The resignation is evident, he experienced the pain but has become cold. The coldness is so evident. Such an interesting character. And real too.

Jo ho Gaya, it can’t be changed. Not your tears neither my anger. So true, isn’t it?

Piu! Yes what’s gone, it’s gone. There is no need to quarrel over it. And I completely agree. It was evident that Rocky doesn’t care about it anymore.. maybe all that he felt, came right off his eyes, the salty channel and he felt better. Rocky was so understanding and big hearted to forgive her easily because he knew, Happy did all this unintentionally.

Ya that sudden Dil se re was odd. Lol!

But oh my the new twist?!! I think I should stop making predictions because creatives does the opposite to what we expect. I want Roha’s equation to be better before I can welcome any more twist and turns. RV gave an easy way out to Ranveer by killing him, I felt total disappointment.

Am I in tears? Yes I am.

Happy. Since the moment Ranveer admitted his crime till the end, all Happy could think is how she destroyed Rocky's life. Just when she was confronted with the truth, she zoned out, completely, she departed to a different world. In her world of repentance. Ranveer held her on gun point. Did Happy realize it? Did she realize she could die right at this moment? No. Her eyes were fixed on Rocky who she wronged. She was lost in her guilt. She couldn't think of anything else but how she put her Rocky in jail. Rocky pulled her to run, bullets kept flying out, she didn't realize. She was lost. RoHa were hiding in the truck. Happy kept her gaze fixed on Rocky just like they were before. Rocky tried his best to comfort her which made her heart bleed even more. And just when they made to a safe distance, she bursted out in tears. She just couldn't stop! She let her guards down and reminisced every wrong she caused Rocky, every damn detail she had on her mind. She didn't miss anything. She kept going on. Everything we wanted Happy to say, she said it all.

Rocky. Ranveer admitted his crime. Rocky didn't say a word. He allowed Ranveer to say the truth on his own, and he let Happy register it. The whole time he kept his mum, till Ranveer was about to shoot Happy. In the truck, when Happy was broken beyond repairs, Rocky kept comforting her like he did before. He knew she will be broken after the truth confrontation, he too is broken, but at that hour they needed to stay alive and reach somewhere safe. He played sensible. And when Happy exploded, Rocky too got emotional. A drop of tear fell down his cheeks, but he didn't mellow down. His response was incredible. Neither Happy's repentance nor his anger can change the past, but together they sure can make a better future. I am so amazed! Who is this guy?? Is this the same Rocky pre Chintu's death? That short-sighted, gussail, impulsive guy? How much these 3yrs in jail and all those bitter experiences changed him! He transformed into someone sensible, composed and mature. I am so very proud of him!! He still is the soft at heart Rocky, but definitely not a weak one to mess with. The tears he was holding hard not to come out, those eyes gave in. Poetic it was.

Ranveer. He is as stupid as cunning his brother is. Ranveer doesn't have his brother's manipulative nature. He is impulsive, made his move, got trapped. He is much less dangerous than RV. You can deal with a guy like that but not one like RV.

RV. He knew Ranveer would do some irreparable blunder. He is tensed. He isn't planning anything now. All he wants is reach to Ranveer and stop him doing what he is up to. Too late. However it's RV. You never know what's on his mind. He is extremely unpredictable.

Precap: Happy won't take a breath till she gets Rocky's maafi. Even though Rocky forgives her, she won't be able to forgive herself till the end. I know Rocky's breaking. But he is a different Rocky now. Not a weak one.

Beautifully written Mano!👏 Weren't we all in tears tonight? I am feeling heavy. Damn these actors! Both Jasmine and Ansh were terrific. Ansh's eyes man! In that truck scene, he had no dialogues yet his eyes spoke volumes. I feel heavy.

@bold yup! He was cold. He was emotional but cold. He could feel Happy's pain. But he is a changed man now. This is a different Rocky, not the one you can walk over anytime you want. How hard was he trying to stay stiff! His eyes gave in, he didn't.

Yes.. I whole heartedly agreed. Happy’s meltdown was beyond my expectation and I am so glad creatives were pinning down every detail when she was recollecting how Rocky was shown pleading Happy to trust him. She broke down into tears and couldn’t refrain herself from asking Rocky to forgive her for what she did to him. Ahh! That scene I can still feel it in my nerves.

Rocky handled the situation very virtuously by not exaggerating the matter. He spoke well to let it go since none of them would be able to revive what is lost. But Happy’s guilt was huge and it will continue until she does something big for Rocky so that she can be normal. Rocky couldn’t speak much, but like you mentioned, his eyes spoke everything behalf of him and happy knew how much Rocky was hurt. All she saw was the sadness he was trying to cover, but didn’t fall apart! I can rewatch the episode as many times as I want and it still won’t be enough :)

Did anyone else notice how rocky could not look away from happy when she walked to him? (when he's crouching and waiting for ranveer). He even turns his head 180° to keep her in sight when she walks closer, right before she trips. It was so adorable 🥱 like he simply couldn't look away. He was literally following her with his gaze.

Happy wanted Rocky to react. He was normal and that was killing her. She just can't believe how could he be so calm after what happened to him. Happy just learnt the truth. Her reaction is natural. But Rocky has gone far from feeling all this. 3yrs in jail he endured that pain. Now he is on a mission. Mission to clear his name, his family's name and get his lost respect back. He can't fall weak now.

Yup! He was keeping an eye as if he knew she would trip over. Lol! He always make sure she is completely safe from any discomforts. I totally love how he secures her all the time. And time in time she is reminded for the comfort Rocky always provides to her without hesitation. :)

Sorry but I don’t like this great RV killing his brother. Please I’ve had enough of his antics. Can the Cvs just let Rocky and Happy be for sometime! I am just done now. RV was meant to take the journey of his catharsis alone, and rightly so but him being obsessive, it’s the death of a character like RV. So disappointed 😭
