I find it very disturbing the way Happy was involved in Chintu's death...

... He didn't want to take that elevator because he thought it was extremely insecure. But, Happy insisted to take it because she was in a rush to meet her mother.

... She practically forced his hand to take that lift which ultimately led to the painful death of Chintu...

I think that such turns of events don't suit a character who is supposed to help others to see the light side of life!

She even told Chintu to have a leap of faith! What for? For his death? And then she encouraged him to take the risk with that lift! Even if we can't accuse her of his death, she was highly involved in it... She didn't even give it a second thought.

It's hard to relate to her character after learning how Chintu's death took place.

How do you feel about this whole situation?

Neither of them had any idea that the lift would break. The manager had indicated that they should take it as they would have to wait very long for the other one to get fixed. One can't blame anyone for not having foresight to foresee that the lift might not hold their weight. Workmen use that lift so it should have been fine. Happy is not responsible for Chintu's death. She tried very hard to save him. Life happens, this was not anyone's fault.

Life happens... very well articulated. I also think the same, but it, nevertheless, left a bad taste.

Since it's fiction, it could have been avoided. It's an event that I can overlook, only that I, personally, would have preferred not to be there, at least not in the form that it happened. But what it happened, it happened...
