Widely known for playing the role of a young, righteous women in several acclaimed TV soaps, Neena Gupta this time is dappling with a character of a Gynecologist and a humane mother in law in her latest show 'Dil Se Diya Vachan' on Zee TV. A doting mother to budding fashion designer Masaba, Neena Gupta has been sharing the same affection with newcomer Vandana Joshi (Nandini) who lives alone in the city. Neena Gupta in fact has taken Vandana under her wings. She's not only teaching her the ropes of acting but also has been taking good care of her. She not only gets food for her everyday but also prepares special delicacies on Vandana's request.

Says an onlooker from the sets, "Recently there was a heavyweight emotional drama that Vandana was having difficulty delivering... but it was heartening to see that Neena ji was so very patient with her and it was delightful to watch both of them bond so well..."

Learning the ropes of acting from this veteran actress, Vandana says, "I look upto Neenaji in every way. She's a very mature and strong person besides being a natural actress. She is not only helps me improve on my acting skills but also showers me with plenty of love and affection. I have found a mother in her."When probed about her dancing career, Says Vandana , "Dance will always remain my passion but right now, my priority is to evolve as an actor,"
