Vandana Joshi of Dance India Dance 2

Dil Se Diya Vachan finally found its female lead in Dance India Dance Season 2 contestant - Vandana Joshi. The show is a take on the beautiful relationship of a mother-in-law and her daughter-in-law. Thus Vandana being the daughter-in-law playing the key role.They already found her loving mother-in-law inNeena Gupta.

Zee TV has always promoted their reality show contestants. After Twinkle Bajpai who played the protagonist Lakshmi in Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyann and Binny Sharma who essays the lead role of Gauri in Sangini, it is Vandana of Dance India Dance 2.

FilmFarm Productions (the makers of Uttaran) are coming up with a new show Dil Se Diya Vachan on Zee TV. Unlike the usual Saas-Bahu serial which shows only the negative sides of it, this show will be about the positive sides of this relationship. The promo showed mother-in-law's concern when her daughter-in-law suffered a cut while chopping. It was really a touchy one. A hunt is going on for lead roles as they are looking for fresh ones. Uttaran's Ayub Khan has been finalized to play a prime role in the show.

Neena Gupta in Dil Se Diya Vachan

We just came to know that Neena Gupta will be essaying the role of mother-in-law in Zee TV's upcoming show 'Dil Se Diya Vachan'. As the show is all about Saas - Bahu relations, Neena Gupta role is nothing less than a female lead. It will show the positive sides of the Saas-bahu relation, which means Neena's character will be loved by all.

The show originally launched at 10:00 pm on Zee TV an year ago but was later shifted to an early evening time slot of 7:00 pm to make way for new show Sanjog Se Bani Sangini. The TRPs of the show which were overwhelming initially kept declining later on and sources close to the show blame it on the shift in the time slot for the same. The show now is all set to conclude but not on October 15th as reported. It has got an extension for an indefinite time period and is not ending atleast this month.

Informs our source, ''The show has got an extension only today which might be of two weeks or more. It is quite possible that their forthcoming show Dil Se Diya Vachan isn't ready as yet or the isn't satisfied with the rough cut of the show. As of now we are informed that Vachan will replace Karol Bagh. However, things could change at the last moment as one more show will launch during same time and another show Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo is going off-air too.''

Confirming the news, producer Sudhir Sharma said, ''No, we are not ending on October 15th. The channel has decided otherwise and we have got an extension though I can't say how long the extension will last.''

Sharma wishes to have had retained the 10:00 pm slot but terms it as the channel's strategic change. ''Channel has its own strategy and they had bigger an expensive shows to launch too in the prime time slot. Karol Bagh at 7:00 pm slot which earlier clocked in a TRP of point five is fetching the channel a consistent TRP of 1.2. Karol Bagh has helped set the ground for the channel's upcoming show in that slot. A loyal viewership has already been established which is going to benefit the channel and its forthcoming show which will air in this slot.''

An authentic take on Delhi's Karol Bagh is all set to bid adieu. Hope many more interesting concepts will soon hit the air-waves.
