@ TM: wonderful post, nice idea too, but I feel it's too late.😊
The CVs started with two real, sensitive & complicated issues... DV & Mental illness but messed it up big time by taking fictional route to deal with it. The first set back was Janvi faking her death, that was the first unrealistic turn this show took, unfortunately there was no turning back, be it making Janvi weaker with every passing day, or the characterization of raghav or turning Viraaj completely negative, there was nothing realistic about it.
The CVs came out brilliantly for depicting Janvi' plight as DV victim, but when it came to her fight against it, thy completely missed the plot. Janvi disappeared from the show coz janvi's fight was turned into Ragav's fight on behalf of his lady love and fight of woman against DV was turned into fight between two men for a woman. The show started as Janvi & Viraaj story but the CV's turned it into Viraaj & Ragav story and it became more of physical fight than an emotional one. I liked your idea about Janvi dreaming coz she simply disappeared after her fake death, I could not relate with sia coz she was reduced to a puppet in the hands of Viraaj and Ragav, one wants to hold the puppet coz he is obsessed with her and another coz he loves her. But what about what janvi wanted, the CV's fail to tell. Totally unrealistic moves, while promising to send a social message to the society.
I really want the CV's to come out and tell what social message thy have sent to DV victims, coz what ultimately happened with Janvi will not apply in reality to even one. No DV victim in real gets someone like Ragav to fight for them. They have to fight for themselves while still facing the truth, not by running away from it.
Regarding Mental illness, I don't even have the heart to write with what the CV's have come up with. Nobody is born with Mental illness written on their fate nor r thy destined to live & die with it. All thy need is love, care & understanding of their loved ones to come out of it. The CVs showed their insensitivity toward the issue by turning a Mentally sick Viraaj into a completely negative person.
If the CV's did not have in them to deal with such sensitive issues, thy should not have started it at the first place. Thy lured people to believe that thy had something serious up their sleeves, but it turned out to be an empty promise.
Your ideas r great, u r more creative than than CV. but I feel it's too late.😊
