But jest aside, I find this whole thing about a woman becoming a suhaagan as being the ultimate goal of a woman's life really very sickening. This Raghav-Sia married life as shown in SB is quite antiquated.

Waiting for a lazy husband to wake up and put sindoor in her maang so the wife can start her day, and other such absurdities in the Raghav-Sia marriage are embarrassing to watch.

LOL, it's absolutely fine, Critical! 😊 In fact, I'm constantly amazed at how we agree with each other on every issue. 😆

@bold: Ditto! I completely agree. It was embarrassing, it was useless and it seemed forced. It seemed like the CVs wanted to force their married life down our throats. For what? Just so viewers can see how different Raghav is from Viraj? But wasn't that always a given that she would have a happy marriage with anyone, except Viraj? 😕 And then Raghav was always portrayed as this divine human being. So 'perfect' and 'pure'. 🥱

I mean, what's this nonsense of wanting your husband to fill your maang everyday? What's this nonsense of bringing him food everyday? They seemed really cheesy and intolerable. That whole episode was filled with sugary scenes between Raghav-Sia. What the heck? Can we not have such crap again, please?

In newly weds - such sweet gestures do happen... but as soon as Raghvi have their child... I doubt she'd get the time to go to office for lunches. Nor will she have time to get her maang filled.

Yes, they do. But this one seemed really forced. 😕 Like the CVs want to print in BIG BOLD letters that Jhanvi is happy now. I mean, that isn't anything new. It was always expected she was going to be happy with Raghav. And more than that, these two share absolutely no chemistry. I don't know if it's the actors, or maybe the characters are so bland that that is the case. But they have absolutely no chemistry.

And the constant, "I love you" "I love you too". "You're this for me" "No, you're that for me" was like Critical said - embarrassing.

Jhanvi herself is amazing. You know, I expected at least some thoughts from her. How this marriage is different from her previous marriage to Viraj. But the only time she gets worried is when that office guy tells Raghav that someone called from the mental asylum. That's the only time you see anything on her face. This immediate movement from one marriage to another without any second thought is crap.

I admit - I have only skimmed thru - I don't know the full content of their convo's other than the bits and bobs.. when I finally catch up - I'll hear it all.
I think due to the time for the leap they are rushing it all. They could have taken their time - and prostponed the leap..
They have given Raghvi almost all screen space in the last week - then why have they rushed so much.. Confused

Exactly. LOTS of screenspace. I couldn't even appreciate Viraj's asylum days correctly last week and he's already becoming a kid tonight. 😔

One min V was dead silent - next min he was screaming for J. Then all of a sudden he's almost back to himself with the 'bloody Raghav'. And yes tonight a kid. One just doesn't know what is going on.
Also they have built the suspision up - as to who will the person behind V's kid like state be.
I wonder will it be Gayatri - for why Raghvi will feel responsible for V?

Shak its indeed an awesome post ...

Sadly the tele world just loves using cheap romantic tricks, fake chemistry and above all sex to sell their serials.

DDSB was able to portray how a Man should be. Unfortunately, we will definitely not get many serials showing the same again in future I think. Sadly cause of the huge demand of steroid stuffed men exerting their energy on women which many of the members find very 'hot and sexy'

But I would agree with many that all this was at the cost of the portrayal of a strong lady. I too agree the hostage and marriage track was too rushed.

Ideally after Raghav struck the deal of staying away from Jhanvi and Jhanvi too wanting Singh family's safety, the CVs should have initiated a track wherein Jhanvi moves away to another location along her family where she tries to rebuild her life

They could have shown the emergence of a strong lady who comes to realize her love for Raghav and now yearns for it.

They could have shown the hostage drama.

Then if the marriage track would have happened it would have looked extremely natural

As for the comments on the maang filling ...🤣 even I was imagining a scene where Raghav is rushed for a meeting abruptly fills her maang and rushes out.

CVs be realistic yaar ... I cute but honestly extremely silly 🤪

@bold: I actually thought that was what's going to happen when she was leaving. And then she came running back and I was absolutely 🤢.

Geez, look how impatient these CVs are to get them married. I mean, who gives a crap? Although, now that I said it, I guess it was good that they got married this quickly because all that useless stuff about them remembering each other and yearning for the other's love has been skipped. 😆

@red: Hahahaha! I heard today he did the same. So ridiculous.
