I have stopped caring for this show since long. What had initially drawn me to the show was KVB. I have always liked him, and I was curious to see what exactly was so special about this show that it compelled him to come back to TV after nearly five years. Initially I thought the role was well worth it. Viraj was mean, violent, obsessive, insecure, amusing and so delightfully mystifying. I loved how the writers would occasionally show us a glimpse of what went on inside his head in a moment of anguish. I loved the play of light and shade in Viraj.
But all that has changed. SB doesn't seem to me the same show anymore. Everything has been oversimplified. The story and the characters are painfully black and white now. The new writing team, in their drive to dilute the content of the show (probably to reach down and across) took the easy way out. They magnified Viraj as the evil genius, focused on his swagger, his outer persona, his so-called style! But, there was little substance inside of that shell. They pigeonholed Viraj into the stereotype of a 'stylish villain'. That is definitely a decadence, considering the early promise. The future of Viraj looks bleak to me, and not just in terms of the story. KVB will do well to leave this show right now.

SB isn't the same show at all, Rosa. It is really sad. This show had immense potential - immense potential to be something great, immense potential to be a show that people will remember. But it has made a mockery of domestic violence, it has made a mockery of OCPD. It has made a mockery of everything.

I do not like at all how they are making Viraj go black. Initially, Viraj was just a negative character who had the potential to become positive. Even after the rape, he still had the potential to become positive. And I was waiting for that day when I'll see the transition in him. How he would get treatment, what effect it will have on Viraj - I was very curious. But they started making him go villainy which left me really disappointed.

Before, what made Viraj really entertaining and fun to watch was KVB and Viraj's characterization. Now it's just KVB. I don't even complain about Viraj anymore, well, except for this topic, haha. But even then I don't care. What's done is done. It doesn't even look like the CVs have any plans to turn back Viraj to how he really was. It doesn't even seem like they have any plans to focus on his past and treatment either. His treatment will be to throw him in a mental hospital, and sometime later, bring him back saying he has been "treated". That is what will be his treatment. Really disappointing.

Anyway, whatever. I don't care enough about this show anymore to express my anger over scenes or my disappointment with some scenes. I just don't care. I'm enjoying KVB as long as he's here and that's all that matters.

But yes, I would be immensely happy if he leaves this show and finds a better show that does justice to his talent.

Absolutely nothing. 😆 Without Viraj, nothing is different about this show. I wonder WHO would watch it.

I didn't care if he became positive. He could've died at the end, and I would've had no problem. Many negative or villain protagonists do. It's how they have butchered everything that's the problem.

Lik, I knew Viraj was singing his own version of Humein Tumse Pyar but couldn't hear the words because my family had guests over. 😆

But I did hear part of it, something about how someone can't do anything without his permission. 😆

I would have had a problem. 😔😆

But then that's just me. I couldn't see him die just like that. NOW I don't care if he dies though. Now I want him to die so KVB can be saved from this show and take up a better one.
