I loved Viraj yesterday, or rather KVB. He was SO enjoyable! The scene wasn't like an actual hostage situation at all, but I don't give a damn. Ever since the news of KVB leaving, I've stopped caring for this show and the state of it. Now I just enjoy KVB. He is entertainment entertainment entertainment!
It's nice to see Viraj speaking about manners and etiquette again. Although the feel is slightly different because of how so badly Viraj has been deteriorated these past months, but it still reminds me of the old Viraj who would eat with a fork and knife, with a napkin tucked under his shirt. It reminded me of the old Viraj who was so hygienic, who felt disgusted seeing Dadi eat so sloppily with her hands and mess up his entire dining table!
Viraj teaching Krish how to properly ask to go to the bathroom was very enjoyable because of this! What had me 🤣🤣 was when he realized Krish could speak. "What?! He can speak!" 😆
Amazing. Too good.
However, Viraj, as a character, I feel is coming to an end. The precap hopefully was an indication of that. He loses control over Jhanvi's love for Raghav and perhaps gets killed in the process. I hope that's how it plays out because I want KVB to be free from this show. The show isn't going anywhere now. And the leap, since these scenarios are setting up for a Raghav-Sia separation 🥱, will mostly focus on them. How they reunite and fall in "love". 🥱
I don't see how Viraj fits into all of that instead of just being a hurdle.
They have ruined Viraj's character months back, and however enjoyable KVB was to watch as Whacko Viraj, Viraj isn't doing anything for him anymore. While he's the one who's still instilling life in Viraj, Viraj isn't returning anything back.
If KVB leaves, I can stop watching this show too - waiting for that day eagerly. And I'll watch him in a better show than this. A show that KVB deserves. It's sad because DSDDSB was INDEED very unique when it first started off. The beginning months were BRILLIANT and very well-written! Especially in regards to Viraj's characterization. So I absolutely understand why KVB chose this show as his comeback vehicle. The show was also at the height of its success back then as well.
But now it's not the same anymore, and I'm sure KVB didn't expect that, at least not so soon.
Anyway, KVB is immensely entertaining as Viraj! But, I would love it if KVB leaves but it's ultimately his decision. Whatever happens, I'll support him!
