I hear that your posts are very balanced.
Sometimes the difficulty arises where you maybe stating something what you noticed from the show - But it may look like a personal preference. So U have to be careful in expression. Sometimes I forget to relate it to a certain part of the show and face difficulty later. Bec this show has sensitive issues. And we are all in the dark as to what the CV's want to show us.
They have kept the Dark guy so glorified.
The fair guy so simple.
The scripting is not fitting bec in order to show Viraj has met a match - he is made to act much dumb. So scripting is changing - hence makes the analysts work more hard too.

I hope I understood you correctly, and I think you're saying that what I said wasn't necessarily shown in the show but is my own personal taste and preference. If that's not what you meant, then just ignore the rant below.

Trust me, I am not trying to side with either lead when I stated that - by all means, they may not have meant to show it that way and it is the statement of my personal opinion, I agree and I don't know who on this forum sides with Raghav or who sides with Viraj - all that matters, for me anyways, is their actions - some things Viraj does that are not forgiveable and in the same way, Raghav also has his faults. And I know CVs use the other to add something to the other character - showing Viraj so evil makes Raghav appear even more saintly when he clearly isn't given his past and at the same time, Raghav is shown to be sensitive to every single person's feelings on the planet which makes Viraj seem like an emotionless monster (when I agree he does display feelings at times)

Long story short, I love the analytic scope of the show so even though I could like one character more than the other, I always try to stay neutral when it comes to discussion.

I know mate - U don't side with anyone. I mean it generally for anyone who is trying to analyse either character .. everyone on this forum would have that difficulty. I always do. The CV's have created a complex plot. The new genre of shows create that thought provoking situation.
When I had stated that V was not all evil.. I forgot to explain - that I am analysing as per the show - bec they said he was mentaly imbalanced and not expressed him as evil in the script so far. I think a lot of ppl felt I was defending him. And I understand their view too bec he's done evil acts hence he is evil in their POV...

Completely understand where you're coming from...everyone has to be very careful with how they state things because I dont really know why everyone is being so sensitive about it...everyone has their reasons for liking or not liking and all of us having different life experiences, some things are more appealing to some than they are to others. This is not about an actor preference thing, both are amazingly portraying their roles - above par performance, especially Karanvir - I can be judgemental about Viraj's actions but I will never for a second doubt KV's ability to portray the role so flawlessly and safe to say, no one else could've played the role. As for Harshad, I love him as Raghav but being a fan or not, I hope everyone can be fair in the sense that it is a much easier character to portray than Viraj.

Part of the war here is the CVs fault because like you said V was never intended to be evil because they kept showing mental imbalance and those weak moments in the beginning of the show when V was reminded of his past and you could see him in pain. So they said V isnt evil whereas his actions portray otherwise - nad they made a clear distinction on his OCPD and normal behaviour and exactly what his dark secret of the past is which was so rushed, things couldve been so much better, at least from an analytic point of view.

I TOTALLY TOTALLY AGREE.
This show really fills the creative juices in a individual like me who loves English literature. And coming from a country where women empowerment has been in force before i was born may make me a lil different from others. Everyone experiences different things.
But now I feel that with Madhubaala starting off I need to give that place more time bec our whole group has been waiting for that show to start. I really admire KVB's work the most in SB.. Hence I'll come to the forum to read up on KVB.
But analysing the show and missing to elaborate on certain points can create chaos in the forum I like to entertain - I am a entertainer. Due to the concept of this show - I cannot entertain here. U know what kind of work I do and I like peace in the forum. So thought to move on from SB.

hey cari... i am just giving my pov... the forbidden fruit of both raghav and viraj is jhanvi/sia. viraj wants jhanvi back in his life so that he can continue to treat her as a doormat.. while raghav is touched by the pain, helplessness, fear in her eyes... and his nature being that of a savior wants to shield and protect her as well... 😎
