ok if the character lacks attitude or pride den thats the way d writers hv written the character. if d CVs askhis character 2 throw attitue nd tantrums onscreen, den undoubtedlu he wud do it...Just watch MOHAN GALA his role indharampatni,i msure u will thank mend redefine styleand attitude.
What I look for.. A snydy smile, twitching of the jaw bone, turning of the head in slight attitude.
For example, My dp - Akshay as Teesmaar khan - chewing a gum and that cocky look attitude,
Abhay Raichand - The snydy smile, Krishna from Pratigya twitching of the jaw bone, Viraj raising an eyebrow, UV - Gritts his teeth together, or has a cheeky develish smile, Sylvester stallone thrown those arrogant daggers and then turns his face away.. These are part of what makes Dabaangi expressions.
ok now if u see AKKI in TMK was a conman, KRISHNA in PRATIGYA is a jackass or i rather say an illiterate mannerless person ( imean 2 d character), VIRAAJ is again a bad boy andso was UD in KZK...so all dbad boys do giv grining smile, they do throw tantrums, nd basically they r portrayed as devils so nothing wrong in dere raising an eyebrow , dat is wat dere character demands, and so they do ikt.
But when u see HC's characters, he always played positive lead and heroic roles, so i don find any single positive hero onscreen who had raisen dere eyebrows, or have givendevilish smiles widout any valid reason.
over here RAGHAV is a well set man, well mannered man so if he also does show the same tantrums as VIRAAJ does it,en wat is d point of showing dem as rivals??...ere wud b no ifference left in between the hero nd d villain. Sio RAGHAV has his own style, nd dats he remains calm nd cool, no unnecessary yelling nd nor wasting time at proving out silly stuffs...he cannot be mannerless or vulglar only 2scare ppl , he has his own style of showing his power, nd dats why iguess d cup of tea was won by him ndnot by Viraaj.
When HC does the romantic scenes - You noticed his face? His eyes brighten up - he has the cheekiest cute smile, His hair on his forhead udh rahey hotein hain, he speaks with his eyes, smiles with his eyes.. He is perfect in those scenes. See each actor has a speciality - but their versatity can always be extended. Every action in his face defines romance.
Soinromantic scenes,we need to see all dose uhv mentioned above. ese r neeed, so HC is not goin out of the concept or script,if he is aske to portray romance he is doing it nd we get attracte by his quality hair, expressive eyes. And as an actor he has also shown versatility in his romance, in all his shows, aisey aisey hi uski sab pairings hit nahi hue hain, kuch to kamalkiye hi hongey na?
This role is a bit diff and he's done fab so far.. But there is no harm in stating that there is that one step that maybe as an actor he can take further. Though he's good in this role too. and his style of speech is just fab.. Game over! And his cheeky remarks delivered so seriously.. It really adds to Raghav's character.. and his voice - so calm and collected.
at 1st all the 5 known nd popular roles he had played so far had been very idifferent for ppl who hv watched dem all. so u can never comapre CADET ALI wid TYCON PREM JUNEJA, neither u can compare D SIMPLEMAN ANURAG GANGULY wid D SELFISH,YOUNG AND MINATING MOHAN nd nor can u compare allof the above wid the RUGGED ND TOUGH RAGHAV...
So i onthink his versatality as an actor has failed at any step in his careeras wid each new role he has just raisen the standard higher and always surprised and entertaine the viewers.
It's just a facial expression - I'm talking abt not the whole overall picture of his being. lol.
I want him to twitch his jaw bone when he's angry.. I think that's subtle - goes with his character.. shows his masked anger and will really suit him. Trust me you'll slip over your own drool and thank me for it..no yaar i m thanking u now only, cos wateva he does i drool on him, so it will not change for me wid any kind of facial expressions he gives...nd wateva facial expressions he has dat was the most complemente ones by fans, no one really had any probs may b becos we watch him onscreen to be happy ndnot 2 dig out the invisible stuffs he or any other acrtor lacks off.
He has a lovely jawline and it will look great on him.

Like KVB has lovely eyes.. and his eyebrow action is a killer..
Akshay has a lovely smile and a smirk makes it all the more perfect.
As a make up artist.(out of hobby). I love paying attention to these little details on peoples features.
nd here again i wud repeat dat me and none of viewers are searching 4another KB or AKKI in HC, HC has his own style nd we luv HCgiri...dere wud b no difference if they make him give the same expressions which KB is doin,cos the characters are here 2 distinguish between evil and innocence, so they nee 2 hv diff source and quality of visualization.
You guys who lubb him in any expression wont notice these things much - Bec I am a bugger for such things I do...
we luv him dats a universal truth,but new fans don praise him becos they had watched PREM JUNEJA,they only saw RAGHAV ndhv never noticed anything dat HC as an actor lacked off 2 giv 2 his character.
i guess hardly ere r any PREM JUNEJA fans at present here, i mean only me, Nads, Vandy di, nd MAHA ( sorry if i missed ne1) r d only ones who continued wid HC ever since KIS DESH days, oers r all new fans which he hv garnered wid his later roles as ANURAG, MOHAN, nd most importantly now the forumhas a huge briogadeof ewly joined RAGHAV fans, so it is a wrong statement that only becos we luv HC we wont notice anything, en wat bout the very newly joind fans??...nobody forces any1 2 like sum actor, it is only 2 d actor's credit,his talent,his persona, nd his versatility 2 portray the various roles which givs himnew fans nd keeps the count goin on.
Raghav is a simple guy I dont expect him to turn his collars up after beating 5 people up or OTT expressions.. Just something that will be fitting with him and the character.
