I SWEAR. She was so angry man!!
I considered the fact that Mamta could be evil, but that possibility seems really remote now.
I think she's the only one with the will (pun intended, in terms of boldness as well as interest) to fight for Ritwik and Palak.
I like the fact that she's ready to set everything aside for the girl her son likes. She's too lovable. 😉😉😳

If Sanchi talks to Mamta, everything would get sorted.

But Mamta does not have decision making power - the dynamics look quite changed from what they had shown in the initial episodes
The only way Mamta can stop this is if she openly opposes her husband. She is after all one parent too. Otherwise we are going back to a patriarchal family where the woman in the house has no real voice

Right now it sounds like a "keh diya na, bas keh diya" in VP's voice. The change will come only if Mamta says it

I think that's coz they sort of changed VP's character too. And, I personally think it is the writer, coz otherwise, there is nothing else that has changed. In the initial 26-30 episodes, VP was shown amazingly chilled out, and then suddenly, after that kiss, Ritwik got all confused coz that's what VP wanted and shit.
And VP wasn't like this earlier, he'd listen to people and he wasn't the least bit authoritarian. Not unreasonably at least.
But, I guess they realised if everyone were good, the story wouldn't move forward.😆

Mamta is our hope but Show ka plot h Rithwik ko bagavat karna hi hoga...
What if Mamta decided to leave with PaRit?

But That will make Rishabh hate Rithwik more as he will feel abandoned
