N regarding devdas in uttam Kumar devdas movie he was chunilal n soumitra was devdas n in d new Bengali devdas we have prosenjit- Arpita.

Men with big ego and sarcasm are like that only and it takes the right woman to open them up. Most likely they are hiding and falling apart inside but they can't show this to the world due to their egotism. They break down eventually and they are the sweetest and most loving people to be around.

Her bashing is very much justified because only then he will realize...only Palak can do that cause she also knows deep down that Rithwik is not how he is in front of others, she has seen a different side of him.
