Hate to say but I agree that om is ruined and unlikeable.

Omki's character was going stronger at the beginning of DBO but his character has become weaker recently where they are making Gauri Mahaan who can solve every problem.

I Perfer to see RiKara tackling their problem together, rather than Gauri on it own.

CVs should be blamed for this. I have no idea why they are messing up with Omki's character.

May be they are showing all this, under the pressure of getting high TRPs.

Agree to show the FL mahaan they are trying to show him dumb. They should give ML also importance. It was Om who was fighting for years to get rid of Svet but at the end they gave all the credit to Gauri and made Gauri as the one who was the reason for throwing Svet Out. I'm glad they didn't show that honey bees and candy throwing plan as Om's plans. I still can't believe they showed such a silly kiddish plan against a powerful Antagonist like Svetlana. Every FL's are mahaan but everyone had a background story at least for some months which helped the story to move on but Gauri doesn't have anything so they are just stretching their misunderstanding. They are not bringing them in friendship phase also because that would clear their misunderstanding and they will have no story then. So even if they are not showing them tackling their problems together they should show them tackling their problems on their own. They are showing mahaan FL doing everything but that doesn't make Om weak ...Om would have not survived if he was not a fighter or Strong all these years. He had seen so much in his life he is going through survivor guilt from his childhood. He has his parents problem. He took blame for his sister's accident and went through guilt ride for her. He had so many betrayals and still he is surviving and fighting. Om never asked anyone to save him he even said he doesn't need anyone when Gauri said she had returned for helping him. He is not this kid who needs someone to save him. The CVS should bring some good background story for Gauri and even if they can't show both of them handling problems together...they should show them solving it on their own. Coming to Buamaa he can't be shown doubting and planning against his mom like Buamaa so soon. Even Shivaay was never shown planning or plotting against his own family. He and AniOmRu worked together only in Tia's case otherwise even he never planned anything against his family. Without any proof they can't be shown doubting their own family members. About Om's misunderstanding why should Om believe when Gauri herself said that she is going to marry Kali for money. It's Gauri's who should clear the mu and she had so many chances but she is not using it she speaks a lot and gives Gyan but still can't clear the misunderstanding. At the end the CVS are showing it like only people who lie and plot and plan easily ( even if it takes hurting someone) can only win. Those who are honest and emotional and those who doesn't plot against someone are dumb.

Yami vo hum sochte hai Om is fighter from childhood who kept on fighting his life with guilt, parents tensions, accident issue, drug and betrayals last but not least even Rape allegation that too by father's mistress even BF Chulbul betrayal but CV's never showed it properly. I would applaud if CV's show these struggles also properly. Tomorrow he will also have illegitimacy fake accuse but for 1-2 min only but still he is ready to take risk to tarnish his legitimacy to protect Shivaye NKK and these all if these tracks had nicely focused on Om a very good track could have been shown but CV's don't even portray that properly. Chulbul betrayal is also made as pain of Gauri not Om.

And Om. should be an antaryami to know how goody is Gauri-how can he believe a dying woman that this girl. is wrecking her home, how can he pay heed to those villagers who were accusing her? Why didn't he turn a blind eye when this maiden was dancing merrily or hugging Kaali? How can he not shower roses on her after she keeps on coming back?

And yes he should accept the joke of a marriage -irrespective of his choice of life, 'coz a girl had made him her pati parmeshwar and made "great" sacrifices

Gauri deserves a much better man -CVs please give her a most ideal man, and free her from. this monster

The sole reason which is stopping Omki's character growth is the RiKara MU. He can't be shown as Angry and shouting all the time.
MU may have been created by Gauri but I think it's time for CVs to clear it out. I don't know how though, be it Gauri or Om, once of them defo need to clear it out lol. It's high time now.

Btw In IB his character is so different, I mean just 2 days before he had a scene with AniRu and he handled the situation so calmly and supported Ani.
This is one of the reason I have loved Om's character since IB (he was the sweetest and understanding out of all). So I'm struggling to understand why there are 2 different shades of him being shown at the same time.

FL shown as Mahaan and Om weaker - This is defo due to TRPs, I think. We have TRPs around 1.5-1.7 from quite a while. This may have put DBO at risk and SP must have warn them to get high TRPs because Gul in her recent interview said how SP wanted high TRPs last year for IB (there was a time when IB was due to get shut because of this reason).

But I'm sure there are better ways to get High TRPs. If writers/CVs stop being lazy and put their 100% into storyline/script. This show has so much potential to do great, moreover the plus factor is the talented cast.
