Yeah we BADLY need some introspection for Omkara. They are not showing him think at all. The show was a spin off about him and his brother but as "Always" the FL and her POV becomes more important. They did it in the parent show, but at least they gave some moments to Shivaay to show his stance though he was totally wrong at that time.
I know they DID show why Om thinks the way he does. He was conned by Gauri not once but twice. First as ChulBul and then as Gauri in Bareilly pretending to be Thakurain. After that display we can't expect Om to blindly trust her. Does ANYONE here understand how it feels to be betrayed by someone you trusted? How was Om supposed to feel after he put his life on the line to save ChulBul to realize such a person never even existed? Is he supposed to fall at Gauri's feet after that?
Yes he is rude and being obnoxious. But there is more to it. He was genuinely worried when she was in that fridge those were NOT the actions of a man who doesn't care! The way he looked at her when she said she "Has to leave". THAT was the moment I truly shipped them for the first time. Yes I think they look great together. But that one eye lock is the first time I really felt something strong. Because that moment was mutual. They were both equally miserable.
Just blaming Om is not right, coz he could easily have told ShivRu about the marriage. But he did not. WHY? Is it coz he doesnt want to tell them that Gauri was with KT and she was a homewrecker he saved from being killed? Does he "Care" about what they think of Gauri? How will we ever KNOW unless they give some "Monologues" to Om? Is he the Male lead or is he just there to stand like a pretty boy giving glaring expressions? Is he just there to bringing the "Sexy" back, and the story is as always ALL about the female lead and her struggle? THIS is what I am feeling and it's annoying. I have NO issue with FL POV being shown. But the Male lead is not just a hot guy who is giving expressions. HE has a life too. Show it to us! DBO is Om and Rudra's story. Make us FEEL it is!
