RIKARA DRABBLE:~ THIS MOMENT
"Jisse hoti hai dil mein hal chal
Wo dhadkan wo jaan ho tum
Jise paane ki chahat hai mujhko
Wo aarzoo wo armaan ho tum"
Gauri swiftly turned her head in all directions to find the owner of the voice when she spot a man in the dark walking towards her. She was scared for a moment. But her fear was replaced by confusion seeing the person in front of her.
"Jiske sajde mein jhuk jaye sar
Wo khuda wo khaas ho tum
Na rahe jise paakar koi tammana baki
Khuda se maangi wo muraad ho tum"
Clad in a plain white shirt paired with jeans of black, Om advanced towards her. His brown orbs sparkled under the white moonlight and a dreamy smile stretched across his face.
"Meri jeene ki nayi aas ho tum
Meri zindagi ki pyaas ho tum
Dhundhta hai dil jise besabr hokar
Zindagi ki wo talash ho tum"
He circled her but she stood rooted to the same place trying to register his words in her mind.
"Jaanta hoon past mein maine tumhe bohot hurt kiya hai. Bohot zalil kiya hai tumhe. Baar-baar tumhare character pe ungli uthata raha. Iske liye main tahe dil se maafi maangta hoon."
"Omkara ji," Gauri tried to interrupt.
"Nahi. Aaj please mujhe bolne do, Gauri. Mere wajah se tumhe kya kuch sehna pada. I know you have forgiven me. Lekin kya tum ateet ki parchai ko chodkar mere saath ek nayi shuruwat kar sakti ho. Kya mujhe ek aur chance de sakti ho?
Main tumhe phoolon ka raasta to nahi de sakta lekin kaanton par tumhe akela chalne nahi doonga. I can not promise you happy springs but I can assure you need not face the storms of winter alone. Kya tum mera haath thaam kar zindagi ke safar mein mera humsafar banogi?"
She could not believe her ears. Was she dreaming or was it for real? If dream, she did not to wanted to open her eyes from this wonderful dream. If it was for real, it was a beautiful reality.
Om knelt down on the ground wih an open red velvet box on his palm. Inside the box shone a gold ring with diamond studded intertwined hearts.
He held her left palm and asked,
"I love you, Gauri. Will you marry me?"
She was awed for a moment before nodding for his proposal. His face glowed more than the moon with happiness and placed the ring in her finger. Gauri could not control the overwhelming emotions and dropped on the ground hugging him tightly.
Who cares about tomorrow. All they wanted was to cherish this moment. This moment of their blissful togetherness.
