U know while watching today episode

One of my family members said couldn't they get some one better

Omkara looks so handsome and best among the three and they found this one only

Omkara is so good that it's natural people will say plus the chirota look

For a change people want someone like soumya

I beg to differ. I am a TRP audience... so is my entire family and the extended one...i am probably the only one active on IF.

I have started watching DBO only for Shrenu Parikh/ Gauri... because I have like her since the EBP days. She has been one of the prettiest faces on television and there have been articles about the same (you can check out the net

I have not seen IB before... so I qont comment on Saumya... because she is a pretty actress.

All television actresses are beautiful in their own ways.

And yes... a particular section may not like the gaon ki gawar woman... but another section may love it.

Anyways I will not comment much on this. I may like Gauri that's my POV... you may not like her... that's your POV.

I liked Gauri when she entered the show.She was so bold and bindaas.I loved the first meeting scene of RiKara when Gauri taught Om a lesson.Just like he demolished her shop,she demolished his car.

But after that,they suddenly started showing Gauri as a vulnerable and helpless woman who asks little kids for help to get rid of kali thakur.I agree kali thakur was a dangerous man but still gauri suddenly turned into a bechari woman.

I agree Gauri is less educated and little conservative village girl.But doesn't she know how marriage takes place?

How can she call a marriage that took place without mantras and rituals as a marriage?Beinig a villager,she needs to know it better than even Omkara.In fact,I am surprised that even the villagers got fooled by omkara so easily.

I agree she thinks shankarji sent omkara into her life to save her and that's why she is calling him her husband but didn't she promise to herself that she will not force omkara to accept her?

I am liking her as chulbul but as someone here said,her pativrata patni dialogues are truly irritating.She looks delusional to me when she tries to find out if Omkara has any feelings for gauri when she very well knows and remembers how much he hated and misunderstood her in bareili.He also told her he did the fake marriage drama just to save her life yet she asks him whether he felt like marrying any gal before swetlana?Indirectly she asked him whether he has any feelings for gauri or not?

I am worried that in future,Gauri will turn into Jhanvi 2.0.Who knows,once she gets exposed,she may tell omkara to accept her as his wife just because she believes in the marriage.And it's also possible that people like bua maa and jhanvi will support her and not omkara.

After all,Jhanvi is not leaving Tej only because she is married to him so they might show Gauri not leaving Omkara just because she is married to him.

We don't want to see pativrata delusional Gauri.We want to see strong and independent Gauri who won't force her beliefs on others.

Don't put sophisticated women down in attempt to show village women as higher. Both are good in their own ways. You may be watching due to Shrenu but 80% of people here are watching from months so they expect a better girl instead of someone taking a void marriage seriously, treating husband as God and even thinking a husband can use his wife as a punching bag. Due to some people's cribbing, we lost Ishaana who was not really bad but we accepted and loved Gauri too which was not easy for most of us. Now if Gauri is shown doing regressive things how can we be happy seeing all this being girls ourselves? As Deepika said, Riddhima too was not that bad but Gul can never show a female lead who is not mahaan. We love Gauri but if she keeps on acting like patnivrata we will surely be disappointed when we already lost a FL of Om and waited for another lead for 5 and 1/2 months. If you are here due to Shrenu then you will not understand our feelings.

Exactly what I am trying to say... we both are probably trying to say the same things but in our own different ways.

It is unfair to put down urban woman to show rural women higher and vice versa.

My point from the very beginning is that let the characters grow. Omkara is asset character of the serial...haa been there for 7 months probably... let Gauri grow as a character...its been hardly a month.

I won't comment on Ishana or Riddhima (have no idea about them)... but yes whatever little I have seen of Saumya (courtesy the excessive screen space to Svetlana) I like her too.

All women are beautiful in their own rights... they all may have justifications for their actions. Yes it's true that I have not been a follower of IB before but I do follow DBO now. For me a lot of efforts go in making a serial... these actors work in huge shifts to entertain us... the producers put in huge amount of money... so we can be patient and wait do the story.

Yes... if DBO doesn't turn out to be as expected we can definitely criticise it... but at least let us give it some time
