I completely agree with you. Also aren't both couples meant to do the rounds not just the guy? So in this case, even the phera wasn't done correctly.

To me the marriage is null and void. Gauri can accept Omkara as her husband but in the eyes of the law he isn't.

No, the wedding is not at all valid and has no legal standing. Om is right that it was just an act they put up due to situation. He is right in rejecting the wedding.

So while Gauri's views on the wedding isn't right, I can see why she took it seriously. It's because she took it be a sign from god... that she asked god for help and got it in the form of a wedding to Om. And hence, she feels she needs to value the marriage.

If u remember arnav khushi first marriage 2 was also this kind only, arnav only put sindoor & mangalsutra on khushi , declared it to be 6 months contract.

Its high time cvs stop making mockery of things and not paying attention to void marriages and showing them as real. 2-3 decades ago Indian shows has good content but today anything is thrown on us to enjoy.

So here he fill her mang with his blood , even took pheras. So its common in serial to consider these marriage real.

If u see thou this marriage is not valid but it has some effect on omkara.

As for rikara its symbolic at least for gauri but legally it has no standing but im sure they will play up the symbolic stuff n sooner or later they will have declare the marriage 😆
