The way Saumya cried and looked at her body I think she will take slimming pills or drink in future as many women goes through depression and take drastic steps to look slim. I saw a show where the female lead does this and later she gets some infection in her intestines but she is cured. I think Saumya too may get depressed as Pakhi repeatedly called her moti and Rudra did not even defended her. However strong a person not always they end up going the right thing. I think this will be a good track which will be a proper message to the people. Saumya may start dieting and consume slimming pills or drink then she may start getting weak with the slimming medicines not all having positive effects but ruining her health. This way others will realize how they were wrong in ridiculing Saumya on her weight.

Iam for it if the track is executed properly but since this is a Trp based show , I doubt the Cvs

It's a sensitive issue and may screw the whole point altogether

No.. Wasn't it the same Sowmya that was proud of the way she was. I will kill the CVs if they show her trying to take slimming pills or something.

For the first time in TV, let them show a girl embracing her body and feel happy with it.. And wasn't the story between a fitness freak and a fat girl.. Let it be that way..

It'll be great if it happens. Rumya story was originally planned to be about looks, so I'll like it if CVs stick to their original plan and don't change it like Om's story. This track can be interesting but I doubt that Gul will show it.

With the constant remarks on her body I am feeling scared for her especially her breakdown in the washroom while thinking the taunt of Pakhi. Om too took drugs as he was broken. Saumya may be strong now but with the way she is ridiculed on her weight she may lose herself and question herself about her figure.

There are rumours about her being a Kapoor but still having a soft corner for Rudra and Obrios

Now we all know the other two sisters and how they look, maybe they body sham her too and mummy Kapoor tu hai ki pagal :D

I don't think she is NB. It was just a rumour like Ishaana returning and Gauri working for Chhoti Dadi. This track is not that bad as every person makes mistakes. Saumya in this case. Aren't there thousands of dusky girls who tried a lot to become fair due to taunts and pressures?

Imo instead of showing something like Saumya taking slimming pills it would be interesting if Gul focused on eating disorders

U mean opposite of anorexia dat is bulimia? But Saumya was never shown to have bulimia.

It's possible that Soumya may be shown questioning her looks based on the ridiculing she received. Guys like Rudra can be so insensitive. Girls like that Paki or whatever? She wasn't even pretty in my opinion? I guess Rudra just likes bimbos? Sumo is too smart and switched on for him!

The issue here is that Rudra is trying to be the same guy he used to be. He tried to step up and do something for the family by marrying Sonia Chadha. But that went badly wrong with his drunk marriage revelation. Now he sees Saumya as the "mistake" that started the unravelling of everything. Because from that point onwards everything went south like a chain reaction.

His blame game and the taunts about her weight may push her over the edge where she may actually care about her weight and appearance. As in, it will start to effect her self confidence when before it did not! Even if Samuya is an NB I think she didn't grow up with the Kapoors. Didn't she say she grew up in Chandigarh as in Punjab? She is probably nothing like her family. So it will be interesting to see if she is actually related to them, how she relates to them. Catty women like Tia, Svet and that Mrs Kapoor!

Whatever her track, I hope they use it well to highlight a relevant issue of body image. BTW Nisha Nagpal that played the original Tanveer in QH was in the highjack sequence and though she is curvier than she used to be, I think she looks really good!

The interesting part now is that Saumya who did not accept the marriage before (when Rudra was the one talking of it), has started to view this marriage as real! I think over time she developed feelings for Rudra. (Though she never even accepted them to herself. She was still with Riyaan) Rudra was even jealous of him. But then suddenly Rudra declared marriage to Sonia and I think it was then that Saumya realised she was not as "blase" about this marriage as she thinks she is. NOW when Rudra doesn't want to accept the marriage she has done so! Their roles are reversed! This track could be SO interesting, if Gul doesn't loose focus, as she always does when it comes to RUMYA!
