Did you really just say that she's too dark? 😕 Woah, that's really racist! People's skin color, looks, body, etc do not equate to talent or ability.

Her voice is extremely annoying.

Being "dark" from inside is what matters :) doesn't matter if you're blue, red, white, brown or orange from outside.

Okay if you dont like her, it doesnt give you the right to call her dark. she happens to ber very pretty. Please be nice.

LOL... I opened this thread out of curiosity!! What a waste!! LOL..

Firstly, I have no comments on Shweta's looks or skin color because I believe we all Indians belong to some shade of brown than pink! If we look around at our own family and friends, there would be several shades of brown/tan - from dark to light, but always brown! Those who appear too pale and pink are usually not 100% Indian blood..

Secondly, to me Saumya had started to have quite annoying voice from the second half of DID2, and I never liked the way she was taking over Jay every time he tried to open his mouth!! She was very good in DID1 and also in the beginning of DID2, dont know what happened to her after that! I guess she got annoyed with the love drama she had to do..

Thirdly, I also dont like Shweta much as a host, but nothing to do with her looks, just that her hosting skills are not very polished yet.. Maybe she will get better with experience.. Jay is always a gem though! I would have loved to see both Jay and Manish together!!

P.S. I am also strictly against "Fair and Lovely." I think it is utter bullshit which alludes to people that somehow being "fair" is being superior. as if being a lighter shade of brown is better! 🤔

I agree. I do not know why people still believe that being fair and thin is only beautiful. It's a very narrow and shallow thinking.

So happy to see younger generation Indians thinking beyond skin colors! I have seen this "color" complex - both superior and inferior, many times and it's quite dumb! I have seen several drop dead gorgeous people with dark shades of skin and real ugly ones with pale skin!! Look at the contestants on beauty pageant shows in the US - so many black girls are exceptionally beautiful... No wonder cosmetic creams like 'fair and lovely' have a huge market base in India! I really wonder whether anyone has become "fair" with that cream?! LOL..

Namgrita aka snow white..i didnt even like saumya's anchoring..n just grow up..shweta is beautiful,though i never liked her,but she can giv any1 complex by her looks n figure..
