I read in some post on IF she's once said she's a better singer than actor.

She is married to a singer... and they met at a singing competition, I think.

She did a film in tamil.. Songs are all nice yet to catch up with the movie..

I got that info while watching those videos in YT.. She is really good in singing but i don't know about her acting skill😕

This song was my ringtone for long.. The composer is also a new comer seems to be good in singing too...

As a musical this film is good but i am not sure whether it will impress in the other areas..

I would love to see her work and she is graceful in a way😃

Don't know, Chitra. From what I know.. the film hasn't released.

And I actually don't watch many of the films, even though I love the soundtracks and picturisations.

I have issues some things.

1) Stalking...love... people not getting into their heads...

2) Dubbing, especially the females... Very few can dub in the language, and so they use a dubbing artist... many of whom have this squeaky high pitched voice. Annoys the hell out of me.

I hate it. I wish India would just shoot in-sync sound. It's ridiculous. They complain about lack of proficiency in languages... well force the actors to learn to act in the language.

One reason Jyothika and Khushboo deserve so much props.

I've held out on watching otherwise highly recommended or critically acclaimed films for the above two reasons. There are films that don't fall into either of these categories, which I do mean to watch. (But it's not just the females and dubbing... Tamil and Telugu it's mostly females... in Malayalam there's an upcoming actor... who's good, but from a clip I saw online I'm sure it's a dubbing artist used for him... so I can't watch films with him either, which get good recs.

The use of dubbing artists was declining in Hindi films. (Though the Bhatt camp always did dubbing artists for their model actors in the earlier films.) But now, it's ... LOL...😆

As for as Tamil Industry i don't see a single female lead who is not dubbed. This has been the case for most of the female actors for many years now.. We got used to it and its annoying in many cases.. I might miss this movie for the same reason.

^^ Jyothika no longer does films. I think the new girl Bala brought in for Avan Ivan dubbed herself, because I remember reading how he wanted someone who could speak Tamil.

Nithiya Menon tries to dub for herself. I know she dubbed for herself in a Telugu film. I don't know about her Tamil films.

I've heard Tamannah actually has a gotten a good grasp in speaking Tamil... But I don't know if she dubs for herself in films, though. Probably not.

But yeah... it's a disgrace.

Yup but there is a phenomenal change in the industry with many young directors foraying and attempting new things. A welcome change for the industry and the movies are making decent money with less production cost..

Yes that girl from Avan Ivan did dub for herself.. The film was not a big hit a little monotonous

The best thing the PH has did was change the lead after 2-3 episodes before the audience start to get attached. Deepa Parab was a darling for the channel and she can act so the audience had no issues accepting her as Jai.

Reth was a great show not slow and saas bhau either. The family had there issues in the beginning cause the DIL of the house was gang rape. Jia even got pregnant later but due to family and outside talk the husband Shekar thought it may not be his but one of the rapers. The show was really good Shekar was a reporter and it really due to a story he did and for revenge his wife was rape.

Kamya Punjabi was later also part of the show her character name was Nethra. I think she was actress that was interviewed by Shekar and she fell for him and they had an affair. Kamya character did the same thing in Astitiva ek Prem Kahani, have an affair with the husband. Gosh Kamya is always playing these character of sleeping with others husbands.
