And saroj did say to bhanu that i never went to my peeher for dewali ... it means she was supposed to celebrate in susral then why change of rule for kastur? These things will bug anyone specially if they are insecure

It's just the way she said not to go. I don't think she was thinking at all about Baapji's rules at that time. If that were the case she herself would've brought it up. Since just earlier Mohan had come back late. It would have made complete sense for Saroj to bring that up. But she didn't. She never says anything about Baapji or the rules of the house. That would've been the first thing to say. That may be the underlying reason, but that's not what was going on in her head.

I need to watch again, but I thought Saroj told both of them not to go. Either way, it's doesn't look good. They just gave Mohan a business opportunity. Kastur's family. Whether they were both told not to go, or just Kastur, it's not really right.

And I don't think it had anything to do with Baapji. She just didn't want them going to the Desais. She basically confirms this in her conversation with Bhanu. Her being upset about Baapji's double standards is one thing. And that's a whole justified issue, and understandable issue. But that convo also reveals, imo, the reason she said no to them at first. She simply didn't like the idea of Kastur taking Mohan to her house.

Yes and baapji also added for MohUr to come back quickly. Baapji looked like he was going to be sick when Mohan told him Pradeep said Kastur had to come to the bank as well. 😆 I wonder what will baapji say when he finds out a Kastur a woman is name is on the loan.

likarsh she always speaks like that only with kastur ... so i dont think it was her dislike for her that made her not allow her to go ... it was dewali and nothing else and in her conversation with bhanu thats what she said i never went to my peeher for dewali, so it has been a rule in the house for bahu to be in susral

At night she told both not to go but in morning she only stopped kastur cause she knew mohan going is important for his future

dekh...i'm a daughter-in-law...and i know..once married...all major festivals are to be celebrated with in-laws...no matter wat! esp diwali...there are festivals set aside where girls can visit teir parental home...on days like rakhi and bhai dooj...

if u see properly...saroj is not giving kastur watever she got from baapji...no...had it been so...she would've done the same with narmada...
but here she is stopping kastur from doing things...which she was not able to do...only coz she knows baapji doesn't like them...and if kastur does it...it'll be she who'll be getting the scolding...

how would she know that baapji is going to bend rules for kastur?

And yet, she knows exactly why Mohan married her. She knows none of this has to do with Kastur. But what finally breaks her is her perceiving that Mohan has accepted Kastur. She says this outright. She admitted before that she'll never accept Kastur. But what made her lose it is when she sees what she thinks is Kastur taking her place. Baapji's taunts, his scolding and all of that play a role. But again even after all, what made her finally lose her cool in the kitchen? The talk of the honeymoon.

She has forgotten why Mohan married her. She never believed Mohan's denials that it was for money. But on the terrace with Kastur, she tells Kastur she did something to Mohan to make him go against her.

Like I said, I understood the holding back for Diwali preparations. I didn't fault her for that. But this time, I do think it has to do with her dislike for Kastur.

She didn't treat Narmada the same way because she doesn't dislike Narmada as a whole. Narmada's laziness gets her scolded and all. But Saroj doesn't dislike her. Mohan's also her favourite child, she she's confirmed with her own words. So her dynamic with Mohan's wife would be different than her dynamic with Vipul's wife. Agreed that there are other things behind it--Baapji's choice, her being kept in the dark, etc. But in the end, again what gets her most is that this girl she dislikes and Baapji's choice, she fears her taking over Mohan's heart and life. She's said so many similar dialogues in the past two weeks.

I'm not saying all of what had been done to Saroj is being now done to Kastur. I'm saying some things, yes.

And i am not at all liking how they are developing mohan saroj either ... he loves her the most he knows she loves her the most and ever since the marriage only time he has tried to talk to saroj was when he went to tell her it was not kastur's fault ... she gets insulted infront of him all the time and he never speaks up how come? or atleast tries to pacify her later? Either don't show he loves her the most or atleast show some connection between words and actions 😡

He never tried to really pacify her or address her insecurities, which is not possible in a normal world specially when you love someone so much ... i know when he did try once saroj showed him a cold shoulder but that was because he went to tell her kastur was not wrong, never to reassure her
