He never tried to really pacify her or address her insecurities, which is not possible in a normal world specially when you love someone so much ... i know when he did try once saroj showed him a cold shoulder but that was because he went to tell her kastur was not wrong, never to reassure her

That i would have to disagree cause Mohan has tried but Saroj don't want to talk to him and if she does is emotional beating of how he disappointed her and broke her heart. Mohan know there is nothing he can do to change it that's why he ask how long will she keep avoiding him

Yea she is equal partner i think and that is what forced mohan to marry her ... if the company was on her name he could have gotten loan approved and then never married her

At night she told both not to go but in morning she only stopped kastur cause she knew mohan going is important for his future

He tried only when he went to justify kastur ... when she already does not like her and her son comes and talks only about her thats not called pacifying ... mohan needs to understand where she is coming from and pacify her ... if he indeed does love her a lot ... and yes he can not do anything to change her, she may never change but that does not mean a son won't try ... also he can atleast stand up for her every time she gets insulted by baapji or atleast pacify her on it later ... i know he cant make everything alright but when you love someone you make an extra effort, whether or not they respond but mohan does not even make the basic effort which for me is quite unreal

Yea she is equal partner and am not sure honestly if that was good move on desai's part, i mean were they insecure or scared? If that is the case they should never have married kastur off to mohan ... mohan asked pardeep's help to get a loan and open his company and without informing or asking him they put kastur's name in it ... ok they knew she is going to be his wife and thought mohan knew too but you atleast ask once, don't you?

Mohan has tried talking to Saroj several times before that day he when to to clear misunderstanding about Kastur. There was even a time Kastur wasn't there Saroj when to bring clothes to Mohan room he tried to talk to her but she wanted to leave and he even tried to block her way to talk to Saroj but she wouldn't have any part of it. Saroj conversation begins & ends with her hatred for Kastur and since he married her that isn't changing so what more can he do? Mohan isn't even the talking type so the little bit he know and tries she shut him down. Mohan just feels is a lost cost at this point cause Saroj is acting like as long a Kastur remain his wife they can't have the son and mother relationship he wants.

Saroj can't stand kastur yet she is happy for mohan's achievement always gives her ashirwad shows her pride in him doesn't she? So why can't mohan also put kastur issue aside and try to show some care for her? Yes he may know she won't change or accept kastur but like the way saroj puts kastur aside to still be happy in his achievement why can't he atleast reciprocate those gestures as a son? And her not liking kastur has nothing to do with mohan not standing up for when she is insulted or trying to pacify her over those insults ... both are separate issues ... when he claims to love her the most and is shown like that too, him just giving up on saroj does not make any sense to me, even if saroj is wrong, she is still his mom

She has forgotten why Mohan married her. She never believed Mohan's denials that it was for money. But on the terrace with Kastur, she tells Kastur she did something to Mohan to make him go against her.

Like I said, I understood the holding back for Diwali preparations. I didn't fault her for that. But this time, I do think it has to do with her dislike for Kastur.

She didn't treat Narmada the same way because she doesn't dislike Narmada as a whole. Narmada's laziness gets her scolded and all. But Saroj doesn't dislike her. Mohan's also her favourite child, she she's confirmed with her own words. So her dynamic with Mohan's wife would be different than her dynamic with Vipul's wife. Agreed that there are other things behind it--Baapji's choice, her being kept in the dark, etc. But in the end, again what gets her most is that this girl she dislikes and Baapji's choice, she fears her taking over Mohan's heart and life. She's said so many similar dialogues in the past two weeks.

I'm not saying all of what had been done to Saroj is being now done to Kastur. I'm saying some things, yes.
